Is it only me, or is this new format of combat missions totally useless? A small novel's length of pointless little rewards that need no focus to gain while playing and make no difference.

 

Before you could see the weekend bonuses and ship/upgrade discounts in advance so you could perhaps finish a ship grind before a specific ship tree becomes discounted.

 

Sugar on top, this same page gets updated during the month so you need a crowdsourcing effort of a middle sized clan even to spot what has been updated when page gets modified.

The daily little rewards / missions are meh, easily ignored. A nice token from WG for free players or to underwhelmingly fill the gap between other large missions, events, but these daily ones are boring, tiny, add to the grind feeling, and in fact ignored to the point they don't and have never mattered to me. It's like they're trying to scratch an itch with the soft end of a feather.

 

On the flip side, I suppose it provides small incentive to reward people for logging in and simply playing a few games and it allows them (over 1000 years) to progress in coal reserves, etc. but to be honest the amount of fanfare they give it in the web article is silly. Apart from the glacial trickle of coal and nothing worthwhile to use it (coal) on currently for presumably many people, WG try to big it up by giving the overall values / quantities of what you can be rewarded in the month, but in reality their 1 flag here and there, few consumables are gone in a heartbeat before you even notice they were there, often without anything to show for it thanks to things like the rng and mm. To benefit from many types of flags and signals you need quite a lot of them.

 

I guess this is because I'm a (spoilt) premium player and have adequate camo's, signal flags, etc to last me a long time. The token signal / camo / free xp / xp rewards have far less value to me - so is WG catering only for free players or a certain other demographic who value these paltry rewards more than I? Best they not call me spoilt, because my freakin little bit of money here and there helps keep the game going.

Well we stopped playing WoWs now. Give back multiplayer and ship discounts. Daily rewards are boring and do not making us tempted to play at all! I am giving feedback for me and two other players here...

Is there a difference between 'commander XP' and 'elite commander XP', as awarded for RN Stages 4 and 5? The article says that Stage 3 awards 5000 unqualified 'XP', apparently distinct from 'free XP' and 'commander XP', which are also awarded for Stage 3. Is this simple 'XP' ship XP or something else?

I dont enjoy this game that much due to atrocious matchmaker and too hard scenarios that you fail over and over, or way too long streaks of defeats. I can hardly play 4-5 consecutive games before raging into frustration and move to WoT or some other game. I managed to gather 160 sovereigns though, but it seems it was discontinued so it was just a waste of time since i cant buy anything interesting with them . I dont hope to gather enough guineas to buy anything interesting either. So no incentive for me. Tier V ranked also dont offer anything interesting but flags which i have thousands. Halloween scenarios were too hard to even consider playing more than few battles to see what they are. So this royal navy was the worst 2 months event that i ever witnessed in my whole online activity in any game. I only got a tier 5 destroyer that would probably take 1 hour to get anyway by research. A complete waste of time. And it doesnt seems to change anytime soon. Probably uninstall the game soon.

May I ask why did you skip the last 3 days of the daily shipments? Today we had to get 500 coal, tomorrow 50 gold and on Saturday - premium pumpkin. Instead counter got reset and I have a normal pumpkin.

Where do I start with this?......This is Europe...we do not have a veterans day,  that is an American holiday.  We have a Armistice Day or Remembrance Day (so called after WW2),  except for those who remained neutral during WW1.  It comes from a Armistice Day banquet held for the French President at Buckingham Palace on the 10th November 1919.  Followed by events held in the grounds of Buckingham Palace on the 11th.

Is it therefor possible to call and commemorate what it is;  rather than what it is not?   Thank You!
