Yes.

Not that it works tho considering the average player is incapable of reading signs.

The hint should be detonation when moving too far away from the battle :Smile_trollface:

Probably they still wouldnt understand :Smile_teethhappy:

No, cause "hints" are too subtle. Make it 5 times as big, with neon flashing, with text "BBs NOT ALLOWED" and that would be a start. When 2 bbs go anyway, thirteen bot midways should appear and launch their strikes at once.

That sign never works besacuse "it says i cant go here" , player logic "it means it's a sekret tip, I MUST GO THERE!! (insert zombie noises here)" :Smile_veryhappy:

Yeah i had a 3 BB division on my team go there unfortunatly because, muh ultimate taktik :cat_cool:

Though as be it rare when a BB that knows what he's doing going there can be good, but in reality verrrry rare. :cap_cool:

It just means that more and more people are noticing these signs, and maybe some day people will realize that it's probably not the best tactical decision to lemming train with half the team behind those islands from the start of the match.

Nah, just means more reports for repeated threads.

What people should do is check the forums before posting, as stated on the rules...

After the GK went through the channel, she shot 3 salvos HE at the full broadside Musashi at mid/close range (the GK kept HE for the full match)

I think this  is a leftover of a time when we had shallow waters between the islands.

BBs couldn't cross shallows, and you has these signs warning you.

WG removed the shallows at some point because it was to difficult :)

Am I dumb? As I've never noticed this sign before.

What map is this on, and roughly what grid position?

Sleeping giant if I remember correctly, somewhere at column 9-10, also on both sides.

According to an earlier screen, it looks like it's on the redesigned North map, too.

I was in a TX game a short while ago (when the sign was there) and three of our top tier BBs sailed to the outside of that island and were not in a position to fire at anything.   Eventually one of them tried to push through the gap only to be destroyed as a number of enemy ships were able to concentrate fire on them the other two remained on the outside and our team lost badly.  I'm fairly sure the two of them were the only ships not sunk in that battle.

Those signs are amusing, but very counter-productive. It is like speaking to 8 year-olds (or older, I've met plenty that are the same aged 18 and above). You tell them that they aren't allowed to play on their games console, and they will put every effort into sneaking away to play on it. No sweets till after tea? Expect the sweetie cupboard to be raided 5 minutes later.

By the same logic, put up a sign saying "Don't go this way!" and every BB on the map has an uncontrollable urge to disobey the sign. Because WG ain't telling them what to do, they are their own person!
