Well that passed that time quite constructively

server is back online, at least I could log in

And how hard would it be to run two servers parallel.  When the main server goes down, or happens to be at capacity, people will naturally begin logging in on the other server with a big warning that reads 'test server' at least you can still play.

 

Thats what I was trying to explain.

In other words the server is back up and running right now (along with almost 10k people).

Tuccs, you should do a server crash more regularly. Never seen so manyplayers online simultaneously before

Is this the same on the American server, or is it just the poor people living in the EU that are to blame!!!

Worked for me just now: Restarted game and logged right in.

Issue resolved fairly quick. As this is an old topic created during CBT, I'm now going to close it.  Hopefully we shouldn't have a new thread like this, but if we do it's at least relivant to when it happens.
