What ship class will you play the most after release?

This poll is for both those of us lucky enough to have played the alpha or closed beta, and for the masses who haven't had the chance to try it out yet. What ship class will you play the most after release? And why?

 

I have mostly played CV and DD in closed beta and I think both classes are under powered. CV planes are too slow, torpedo activation range is too long, and planes' turning circle is too wide, DD stealth is hard countered at higher tiers by the sheer amount of planes in the sky and the huge cap circle's magical detection ability. so I will mostly play american CA after release (fast firing main guns, AA ability hard counters carriers). How about you?

I'm loving CA's at the moment both Japs & US - Cleveland obviously - Pepsicola and especially the Mogami I love realy enjoyed the Aoba too when I figured how to best utilise it but I do enjoy playing BB's too but hey who doesn't.

All...first t10 will probably be an US Montana though, accompanied by a Gearing soon enough...

Pretty sure I've seen this thread before, but w/e.  I'mma main the IJN DDs, secondary everything else IJN (cruisers > carriers > battleships), and then can come the Brits, Germans, French and Italians.  Probably DD primary for most, followed by BBs for some specific ships I want.

i think my order will be something like IJN CL/CA, IJN DD, US DD, US CL/CA, IJN BB. Have to wait for US BBs before making a decision where in the list they will be placed. Tried a few CV games, didn't like the style, it's just not mine, so mayyyybe they will follow somewhere in the far distance, maybe they won't. I'll probably play all lines simultaneously (Daily 1.5/2/whatever it'll be on each line, rest of the time grind those I want to get to higher tier first)

I'll probably main the carriers, though I will free exp past the Langley though using the Sims.

If they return the old AA and fix the DBs I will probably play USN CVs > BBs (probably USN again, but still need to see them) > USN CA (if Des Moines is not nerfed very badly) > OP russian ships or IJN CVs.

Any class that isn't Carrier because carriers are boring for me personally. Just point and click gameplay just like arty.

Well, you could say the same about BBs/CCs/DDs.

Not really if you play them to their role. Carriers, like arty in WoT, are a playing a completely different game than the rest of the classes.

I'll most likely be focusing on the IJN BB line, since I'm liking every ship in the line currently available. Will have to try the USN BB line to at least T6 before I make any decision on those, but I'll probably play them as well. Liking both CL/CA lines so far, and I find DDs to be a fun diversion every once in a while. Really, the only lines I don't see myself playing are the CVs, partially because how wonky their balancing seems to be, their ability to significantly impact a match seems to swing all over the place depending on what kind of ships you face.

I'll probably play Japanese cruisers because I am really enjoying them right now, perhaps US battleships as well. Im also interested in Italian BBs in the far future and as soon as Britain comes out I will get my Nelson!

I'm at the Baltimore, so yeah my first tier X will be Des Moines. Also at tier 7 IJN cruiser, as well as the Nagato, and the Benson tier 6 us DD. So, in short: I'll be playing them all besides cv's which just aren't my thing.

Cruisers of any nation except the yanks. CVs if I feel like it.
