CBT Access for Pre-Order?

So I've bought the Gremyashchiy, and I do not currently have access to the CBT, but after I bought it (during the 15% discount obviously) they've changed it in the Premium Shop so that buying any of the packages will grant you CBT access. Will I get CBT access now or what?

At the moment nobody knows for sure, but I dont think you get into CBT.

I you now have access you will be able to downlaod the game so go check! If not log a support call REF you purchase. It would be a bit nasty of them to penalise the guys that bought a package over the weekend against people buying today. It would surprise me if wargaming do that.

Go to the main portal page and log in (assuming you aren't already), if you see a big orange button at the bottom that says "Download Game" then you have access. If not contact support (although I doubt that will help).

 

Could be an error in the premium shop description, or it could be they haven't got around to updating your account details (though you'd think that would be automatic).

 

Anyway the more people in the CBT queue the better, it's can get a bit barren at times right now.

I can't download, I have been logged in for hours, and they started updating the premium shop 9.54 or so, I went in there and checked and saw that only the Sims gave CBT access and then I refreshed it after a couple of minutes, at which point all the ship packages gave CBT access.

it could just be it's taking a while for the system to enable access and send out mails to everybody who bought the packages on discount over the weekend.

 

personally, i will wait until after lunch with opening a ticket.

I bought 2 of the pre-order ships even though I'm not in the CBT yet. Over the weekend they were sold with a 15% discount. After the weekend they were sold full price but include CBT access. In the emails I received after purchase it said that you have 14 days to cancel your order. So you need to decide if you want to cancel your current purchase and pay a bit more for CBT access.

 

To be honest I'm a little miffed with WG about this. There should have been a option to take the CBT or discount from the start or at least inform those like myself who don't have CBT access so then can make an informed decision.

Anyone who has already purchased a Premium Ship package will also receive access to the test.

 

I don't see any way to download the client either. I will give it a couple of hours before logging a ticket.

In all likelyhood it is indeed an attempt to sell more premium ships. But at the same time, it's good for everyone - WG get more money and more testers, we get to play the game.

this is not what the announcement indicates, this is what the announcement actually say.

Anyone who has already purchased a Premium Ship package will also receive access to the test.
