Yes, would agree with that, a mix of smaller turning circle + gun range would be nice

Cant agree more.

With scores like this it would be to much.

This score was result by one of clan mates.

 

 

Ship who can easy deal over 200k damage only need nerfs.

But he did only 9 (!) fires with over 400 shell hits.

Clearly a point where you can buff the Harugumo with a legendary upgrade.

WG said that we will have to wait some time for legendary mods for newly intoduced tier X ships. That's all.

The only legendary module that will come is the ability to annoy even more friendly DDs asking them to spot as they farm from smoke.

That is also true.

After all, its weekend.

 

But still, no matter on scores like this Harugumo is ''very balanced'' ship. Even Notser said that, but we all (or at least most of us) did know that long before his opinions.

Just because the enemy is ignoring the Harugumo she is OP?

Just because the enemy fails to react accordingly to this ship, she is OP?

If her average DMG would be that high, I would agree, but the average DMG is around 72k

No matter you ignore it or not, that crap have to much fire power.

Low average damage is because there is to many potatos with DDs, nothing else.

 

He says a lot but it doesnt mean he is wrong.

 

Only DD players and HE spammers like this broken crap or Worcester would say ''there is nothing wrong with ship lel''.

Yes sure, but she isn't excatly a "DD". Like the Khaba, she tends to be more on the light cruiser side.

If she rushes a cap at the beginning, she is very likely to die rather fast.

She is huge and easy to hit, you have to play her as a support DD, which causes her high damage stat.

Let me guess: You don't own her, do you?

Since you've hidden your stats ( No suprise there tbh) I just can't see your problem.

If you allow the Haru to farm you, it's your own fault and the Haru player just outplayed you.

Pretty much anything at T10 can wreck a Harugumo, if you don't let it fight you on its terms. Mostly because everything can outlast a Harugumo except DDs which can outspot it and launch torps.

But hardly the highest winrate, right? Comparing damage across ships is an exercise at futility. Harugumo spams BBs with HE and lights fires - the only DD that fights in a similar manner and picks similar targets is Khaba - but Khaba also does some gunboat-style tanking while Harugumo can't tank (no heal, no armor, no Khaba speed) and focuses on dealing damage because that's all she can do. Frankly, it's pretty natural that Harugumo is going to have the highest average damage - even after she loses the "player skill edge" from being flooded by Akizuki enthusiasts and people with lots of freeXP that (unsurprisingly) tend to be more experienced than people without much free XP.

Even with that advantage, however, Harugumo lags a bit behind Khabarovsk and a lot behind Yueyang in WR%. She's very strong, don't take me wrong, but not nearly the monster some people present her as.

 

PS:

In the context of legendary upgrades - relatively few of them are actual UPgrades over the "standard" contents of the upgrade slot... Harugumo's is also more likely than not to end up being crap when they finally add it

That would require them to play the Harugumo themselves. And I doubt they ever have.

I never played it either, but it's a natural consequence of no repair party, bad maneuverability and large size. People might call it a CL without citadel, but frankly, Worcester is less likely to die, because unless it just sits there broadside on, it can be pretty trolly and it can repair damage, while Harugumo, if it loses 10k to a BB AP pen or eats a few salvos of cruiser HE is down permanently. And in practice, Harugumos that were spotted and shot at were Harugumos that died rather fast. It was those that were hidden and well-positioned that can deny an area.
