I am not sure where to post this but the text is not accurate with regards to the aircraft carriers in commission with the Royal Navy in the 1930's

The text states that the Royal Navy possessed 3 Furius class Aircraft carriers all with limited hangar capability

Information below taken from Jane's Fighting Ships

Firstly HMS Furious was designed as a single unit to originally mount 2 single 18" guns - Dimensions 786.25 x 89.66 feet displacement 22450 tons full load, aircraft 6 flights (54) - guns 10 5.5" and 6 4"

HMS Glorious and HMS Courageous - originally designed as fast cruisers with two twin 15 turrets - dimensions 786.25 x 81 feet displacement 22700 full load, aircraft 6 flights (54) - guns 16 4.7"

There was also HMS Eagle- dimensions 667 x 105.16 feet, displacement 26200 tons full load, aircraft 3 flights (27), guns 9 6" and 5 4"

And not forgetting HMS Hermes - dimensions  598 x 90 feet, displacement 10950 tons normal, aircraft 8 flights (72(single flight of fighters given as having 9 aircraft)), guns 6 5.5" and 3 4"

Also HMS Argus - dimensions 565 x 68 feet, displacement 14450 normal load, 3 flights (27) guns 6 4"

I make this six aircraft carriers not three and some of them having large aircraft complements

WG if you are going to publish and article, please make sure that it is accurate
