Some answers to common questions were already posted, but here they are again. Why buy if it gets wiped? Probably the most controversial topic right now is that of a wipe between OBT and Release. The reason why this is not mentioned in the portal article and premium shop is that we are not planning to do a wipe after OBT. Therefore, anything you buy with real money will stay with you from OBT onwards. If we do feel the need to wipe player's progress, for any reason (like if you guys start massively exploiting the ship out of some bug you find in the game), we will simply softwipe and return the contents of your pre-order packages. Slots, ships bought in-game, credits etc. would be converted back to Gold Doubloons. If you buy premium time in CBT, you will get it again in OBT, as stated in the article on the portal, but you will not get it again after release. If there is a softwipe, all the additional resources that you gained through having a premium account will be returned to you anyway. The only notable exception to this might be crew experience. If you're a veteran in World of games, you'll know that in the past we've had issues with crew experience being wiped with changes to the game. Obviously, we're working as fast as humanly possible on implementing the required mechanics for exporting and tracking commander XP in our databases, but we might not make it in time for OBT. Hence, crew xp might be wiped. Will premium accounts be unified? Yes, eventually. However, this depends on the development processes we need to finish first, so at this stage we are not promising this will happen immediately with the game's release. At this point we also can't give a direct time frame of how long after release this will happen - we can only say, that it will. Obviously, we're working to make it ASAP, rather than Soon. Therefore, all pre-order packages containing premium features are exclusive to World of Warships and cannot be used in World of Tanks or Warplanes until further notice. What this also means is that the premium currency will likely still be called Gold Doubloons after the game is released. When can I buy and exclusivity? As stated, you can buy the pre-order packages until the end of CBT. At that time they will be removed from the premium shop and won't reappear for purchase for at least a year. CBT will not end in the next few days, so you can wait a while to make up your mind. Why no game access with the bundles? We originally did not plan on doing it, or we would have done so from the start. However, we've been getting a lot of requests from the community asking for it, so we decided to let you have your way. However, we do have our own requirements for how many testers we want to participate, so we might remove CBT access from packages in the future. Why no other payment methods like phone/sms? Because we're not ready to offer those on the technical side, especially in a region like the EU, where every country has different providers and prices. We're working on making these available, but that will take some time. They won't be available for the time being. I hope this clears things up a bit. Why should World of Warships be any different? I think the difference is that WG figured out that instead of giving gold to open beta testers like for WoT, they could sell gold already during CBT. Since they started to do that now I do not expect them to give any tokens to anybody anymore, and therefore they have much less incentive to wipe because they didn't give us anything for free... This is the plan - the last wipe should be at CBT->OBT And something very very disappointing... Will you give us gold to test the ships in CBT?
