Protected MM, removal of manual attacks on T4 and T5, what more do you need?

Funny thing, the removal of manual attacks maked me club much, much easier! (No need to watch out about strafes, and many good cv players moved away from tier 4 and 5)

Alas, the tier 1 WAS seal clubbing in my youthful days when I was led astray. I no longer partake!
As I said before tier 5,6 and 7 is sweet spot for free gaming, I admit that 11k games in T-67 could be construed as  statpadding but NOT sealclubbing!

I think Siramra is pointing at the 2500 Cunningham games....:Smile_teethhappy: that is obscene.

Au contraire, it is BECASUE of tanks that I realised a LONG time ago, that the sweet spot was tier 5,6,7 as they were affordable to play as well as being competitive.

You miss my point.....you are complaining about seal clubbing by others while playing your T2 and with 2k overall battles you are trying to do the same at T2.

Well, u meet New players alot in the T67, so the clubbing argument stands. But yes, it's a padders dream.

Well, I like to see good players in any team. And if someone is very good it means that I can also be as good when I  train hard.  So at least for me to join a battle  where there are good players with thousands of battles  is just a privilege.

^^This. And you get to learn from them too.

Personally I do use the MM monitor to get a feel for various things like:

How good are the DDs in my team vs enemy team?

How good are the CVs in both teams?

Do I need to focus someone on the enemy team?

Can I rely on the DD in front of me if I play CA/BB or do I have to assume he will most likely get himself killed early?

Can I rely on the BBs behind me if I'm playing CA/DD or are they just going to backline snipe without putting their HP to use to win for the team?

Do I need to watch out for good enemy CA/BB players?

There are some other conclusions that are highly controversial, but I feel all of the above help me a win a few more games and have more satisfying games in general.

Obviously I try to mainly focus on myself and improve myself as a player to win more, but the extra information helps my decision making process a little bit.

To summarize:

If someone tells you that stats mean nothing that is obvious BS in my experience. Suprisingly the avg exp metric seems to be one the most accurate statistic that manages to correlate a lot with player ability even if they div often.

If someone tells you that stats are everything that is also BS. There are stat padders and people who div with players who suck at the game because theyre friends so you cannot read stats like a bible but they do correlate, if very roughly.

most of wg players are guilty of seal clubbing

Like my NA stats on wowp

Spoiler
Focke-Wulf Fw 57 3 HF  Germany 280 83.57%

Just expect every player to be one in the lower tiers .. you wil club better that way or use the MMM stat thing if you are dirty enough

11K games in the T67 - now, that's just pure filth! You'll go blind...

(That said, you're doing a bit of a public service there, despite being a kinky piece of trash - good T67 play provides impetus for people to learn the basics of vision mechanics)

This was actually intended. And I'd it was a good thing to happen.

Though there's still a lot of clubbers left, especially aircraft carriers. It's actually common to have 2 CVs on each team, as there's so little AA present there.

You know... the thing is that it's actually a good learning experience to try out a ship (or plane or whatever) again after you've grown a bit.

On my NA account, playing the Omaha ended up being a real treat! :Smile_medal:

And I was still limited to a crappy captain without CE and with the cheaper dispersion-only camo, but it's all in knowing the game. It matters so much, it's easy to take this for granted and blame something else.

Though truth be told, tier 5 still is a very tough tier to play in as a new player. It really helps them if there's cover available and the lower tier maps provide better in this regard :Smile_hiding:

I do believe that things become different when clubbing consistently and often using something that is already OP (like a Kamikaze) along with a maxed out captain and full signal loadout. That's just cruel :Smile_sad:

I have 34 (15 solo) games already in my V-25.

Sometimes you want to play a quick game and get away from the T10 campy radar grind. And this is what I play when friends are leveling T2/3 ships and we division up.
