Sharks still winning?

I was under the impression that, when everybody got to 75 loyalty, the people who have been allowing Sharks to stomp Eagles every day would switch sides, and the Eagles would start beating the Sharks. But today the Sharks are still beating the Eagles? Any ideas?

you were assuming that

a) a majority of the playerbase plays the game religiously enough to get full loyalty to one team at the earliest possible date

and b) a majority of the playerbase pays enough attention to even realize it would now make sense to switch teams?

Still, I would have thought the best players would be there or thereabouts, and those are the ones most likely to turn the tide of winning.

I have played almost every day since it started. Since I don't always play enough in one day to be offered the swap, I'm on 61 out of 75, so I'll be on sharks for another 4-5 days

Also that most people probably did the math and instead of going with +2 loyality they took the Create for max. coal, e.g. started as eagle and switched then to sushi.

except this event isn't about the "best" players making the most points, it's about the most active ones. not (always) the same thing...

Missed a few day,sitting 73/75 so yeah Sharks is the way I go...at least for till Tomorrow.

Probably a few really crap players that didnt play enought to get the "change team" notification everyday, these players could theoretically have missed such a pop up 2 times. Theoretically of course.

28x3=84

You need 75 for all 195 token of one side

 

First 25 days you switch to the winning side = 75 Loyality, 25 Crates for switching and 25 for winning = 50 Cartes

75 Loyality = 195 token = 39 Crates

If one makes 1250 Points every day = 100 Crates

Assuming you make every day Top 10 (for whatever reason) = 75 Crates

 

Makes, if my math is not complitly wrong, after 25 days 164 Crates

164 Crates x 450 Coal = 73800 Coal

 

For the last 3 days:

2 times you switch to the new winning team, once you stay = 2 Crates + 11 Loyality

11 Loyality = 20 Token = 4 Crates

Winning, making 1250 points and Top 10 = 24 Crates

 

After the 3 days = 30 Crates

30 Crates x 450 Coal = 13500 Coal

 

28 days later = 87300 Coal

The recruiter thing can take a while to come up, I once got it after the second daily container. I play the game daily and even I am at 58 LP for Sharks. Not everyone gets 5 LP every single day.

If you switch sides every day, roughly 50% of the days you will be on the losing side, which means the crate you got for switching you will lose for not winning on 50% of days. So your net positive over 28 days is plus 14 crates compared to just staying on the same side - but you don't build up any loyalty, so don't get loyalty bonuses. The amount of crates you can buy from loyalty bonuses is a lot more than 14: you can earn something in the region of 250 tokens (very rough guess) by sticking to one side until max loyalty and then sticking to the other, which is enough for 50 crates.

I was under the impression you get the offer after you reach your second crate of the day, but could be wrong.

Don't 100% me on it but yes... I mean I make my points almost exclusivly in Co-Op so it is maybe wins?!

 

 

All I can say is that I got the massage every day sofar within the first hour of playing... So 5-ish games in Co-Op

Pardon me if im asking this, i know the answer is somwhere in the forums, but after reaching full loyalty with one team, how mutch loyalty tokens can you earn with the other till the event ends?

You still get at the end of the day 3 points of loyality for the side you end up with and at least made 1 point progress.

I myself farmed the 75 loyality and since yesterday I switch from sushi to eagles for 1 Crate more every day and currently I'am on 78/75 Loyality for eagles and will be tomorrow at 81/75.

i am [edited]pissed about rng element of the swap. one day that i didnt get the offer to join eagles i played 10-20 games.. so i needed one day extra in sharks. cause you cant have enough RNG... idiots whoever thought about adding RNG to damn event.

no... data collected from several accounts:

bottom axes number of games to get the offer (the 10+ was in fact no offer after 18 games)... and as far as I can see it is not triggered by a win or a lose, number of points, collected containers, finished missions, ...

You dont need to care about that. When you get 75 / max loyalty for Sharks just go to Eagles, as you will get ~4 daily team containers + tokens which you can spend also on team containers.

In the worst scenario you lose ONLY 1 daily team-win container, nothing more.
