Can't win

Fellow sailors,

 

This is happening to me for more then 1.5 months now.

 

Except for á few games that i F up( we all do) i am playing good games, but it seems that the teams keep dying around me.

Are there more people that have ????? with wargaming MM and RNG. Some games i have to ask teammates if there keyboards are broken because of 0 or poor response in chat.

Am i getting crazy or is there á answer out there? other then you suck.

the answer lies in extremely simple maths, to be more precise: sample size.

With three more wins over those 28 games, you'd have a flat 50% winrate. Dont look at winrate until you have a lot more games to actually make it matter.

I know, but the games realy suck at the moment, My both accounts solid above average  are doing 40% WR Atm . All my friends are asking what is happening to you.

One can have days like that. It's like Tyrendian said, in the larger picture it shouldn't make a difference, although at the particular moment it can be quite painful of course.

Summer vacation syndrome.

I've actually seen players today not understanding what hydro does. At T8.
Others complaining that the 2 DDs of a match were going to one cap on Two Brothers, and still lemming train to the DD-less side, only to be spooked by a bottom tier DD and be blocked all match, despite having crushing tier and number superiority.
Or my favorite, 6 people dying to 2 DMs in a knife fight in 2 minutes flat, then blaming the rest of the team.
 

 

Blame idiots for being idiots.
Then blame WG for letting idiots reach past T5 without understanding what one of the 6 clickable items on their UI does, despite it being common to every ship and class.

I believe they do that on purpose, so they can whine at their team. ITs like "oh i show him/them"

Had the same thing on two brothers with my Fushun once. We had 2 DDs, the other one didnt move at the beginning, i was closer to D, so i went D. After couple of minutes the other DD starts moving, yolos into D, dies. Meanwhile 7! ppl went to A (because reason) die to less enemies (5, mostly Cruisers), then whine because both DDs went D. Well, i told them i cant steer the other DD, and i was first going to D, so why didnt they follow me? No answer. We had to kite 6 (7 at first, i torped one BB) enemies on our side with 3 ships, when i was constanty permaspotting broadsiding cruisers which nobody could punish anymore. If ONE of the BBs would have come back from A, he might have gotten a pretty decent game out of it, but cant have that.

Seeing your stats you're doing very well overall. 60% WR as I write this, looking at wowsnumbers. That's lightyears better than my WR. There is one universal law here nobody can escape from: losing streaks are part of the deal. Accept it, bite the bullet and move on. It'll get better eventually.

Decided to check your account, given what @Juanx said. I think he is right, and that you're doing a reroll.

 

But nevertheless, both the lines in which you have a tier ten, i.e. US cruisers and IJN BBs, you have skipped the vast part of the line with freexp. Don't know if indeed you had bad chance with your teams, but just skipping through entire lines isn't the most learnful experience.

Yeah, the law of big numbers -- over time your win rate will approach your true performance.

 

I started my Lion off with a string of 10-12 straight losses. Just really bad luck, little or nothing to do with me -- those games where our team loses 3 dumbass DD's before I can even shoot at someone.

 

After 95 games my win rate is still 43% though I've been winning over half the games for a while now. Can be a long road to stabilize those numbers.

Happens to all of us. Shima and Gearing: 60%+ wr. Yueyang: 42%. It sucks, a lot, but there is nothing you can do about it other than cursing the heavens for destroying your pr.

If I'm going to hazard a guess, you're relying too much on teammates. Not that you don't carry, but that you assume they think like you do.

Just over half your battles are in divisions which might lead you to play more as if your teammates and you work together when in reality they mostly don't.

 

You don't have to play selfishly, but always keep in mind that the majority of players play as if they are on their own. So if you want to work together either make sure you're all on the same page, or act as the other player's backup and not the other way around, so if they mess up it's not you that get wrecked.

1st step you're doing wrong - you are blaming the team, while the only constant in all those games is you. YOU are the one screwing up most of them, not your team

Same for me with gearing - won 1 game out of 14 to start with. Followed it up by only winning 7 out of 16.

Getting back from 8 wins out of 30 it has taken me till 111 games to get it to 50%

 

Although I don't mind taking responsibility for the poor early performance, I hadn't expected it to handle quite like a bus, nor eat damage like it's going out of fashion

This day was for me very bad...17 matches with Khaba and win rate 41,18...PR 1254 and DMG 62587.Even best matches were defeat...but that happens.

You are not the only one. It happens. Just came from a 2 week streak with 45% WR. In December last year I had something like 3 weeks where hardly any battle I played went "normal", players just died like flies and the battles were not fun anymore at all (never mind win or lose).

 

 

For me bad days seem to be triggered by looking at my stats; it doesn't seem to matter whether ingame or thru WoWs-Numbers.

Pffth, that's nothing lad! I once had a solid 40% WR losing streak for 2 months straight and I even managed more than 240 games (not to mention the 2-3.00 odd games I totally threw in the beginning because I potato'd way too much) during the time. It all evened out after that though so now I'm at 52%, which I feel is rather fair. Losing streaks happen, that's what "Random Battle" means. After all you are just 1 of 12 players and in the end the extent you will be able to carry the rest of the team team is limited at the moment. BUT, not to despair you can have more impact, if you play in a Division with 2 friends (who do not suck).
