i could do 31,5 knots when i got it, now i am happy if i do 29. I could turn yamato in torpedoes and at worst pick up one, now even when his life depends on it it will pick up everything (torpedo bombers). before i could get citadeled, yes, buy a kurfurst point blank, now f[edited]tirpiz can citadel me from 15 km away,.

guns are as you can see from picture for crap (there were at least 6 pen on that T8 mogami, and i pened it from a broad side for nothing), tell me how the F a shell with 14800 penetration those 4880 on a penetration, or 1080 on an overpen, if overpen is guarantied 10% of the base value.  in battle from the picture i fired 93 AP shells, 51 hit  for 107k dmg. 2k dmg per shell with the biggest shell in the game. it was never like this.

this ship is nothing you advertise about it a year a go.

only you know (devs) why it is ok to change characteristic of the ship so much that you essentially say "f[edited] you" to every player in the game that wasted time and money to get a ship.  

 

 

how about every time you decide to change characteristic of a ship for "balance reasons" you give us compensation for the lost time and money.
that would be fair. you would think twice when balancing game then, but no it is just "look at the monkeys".

First thing first: you are complaining about one of the most powerful ships in the entire game. Have you ever considered that the problem is you, not the ship? 

2. Yamato has never been able to do 30+ knots. I got it in open beta which was more than 2 years ago and i have never seen her going 30+ knots.

3. If you did that low amount of damage with that many hits, clearly you werent aiming well.

4. Tirpitz was able to citadel yamato from 15km since the day she was introduced into game.

5. Yamato was always weak against torpedo bombers which are controled by a decent cv player. Nothing new. 

 

Maybe consider that you were playing poorly before blaming devs or the ship.

Even your "now I do 29" is impossible, max speed for Yamato WITH a signal flag is 28.35kts

Yamato has always been citadellable by tier 8s. Hell, I'm pretty sure there are 7s who could do it, especially if you are potato enough to give your flat broadside to them

Pens on modules (like turrets) and pens on torpedo bulges that didn't explode in the ship itself do 0 dmg. That's nothing new

1) it was always like this

 

2) 51 hits include bounces and shatters. Further more, it includes saturated pens (dealing 1/2 pen dmg) and completely saturated pens (does no dmg) as well as pens on modules like turrets (0 dmg). Hence your "low dmg per shell"

The only difference I can think between a Yamato "a year ago" and now is the turret traverse buff and introduction of the special module (a.k.a. grindable dispersion buff). NOTHING else has changed, at least nothing notewoarthy

dev's will certainly not answer or do something about it, as that is the way they make money. first they make a ship with stats that are wanted, and then when a sufficient players spend money to get it, they nerf the ship and push a new one for you to grind and spend money again.

Yamato can overmatch 32mm armour. Even a T1 Hermelin has 35mm of citadel armour, so you can't expect all your shell hits to be bounce-less.
