T-61 - Goodbye balance in T6

Again and? The Vid is from November is she unchanged? even if so she is better than Gaede? Is Texas better than New York? Is Missouri better than Iowa? Nobody cares. Nobody wants to pay money for teh orginal Prinz Eugen since she was a worse Hipper. Being better than Gaege dont means she is better than any other DD at the tir.

It is not OP at torpedoing oblivious low-tier BBs like Kamikaze is, but it is still quite OP, if you compare it to same tier DDs.

 

 

Fubuki does have

 

+2km torpedo range

3x3 (1 torpedo more) with a bit more damage,

 

but also

+12% reload

+27% reaction time for the enemy.

 

T-61 has

 

+ 66% HE DPM

+ 173% AP DPM

+ Hydroacoustic Search

+ 14% HP.

 

Both have the same concealment.

 

 

Shinonome has

 

the same torpedo range as T-61,

3x3 (1 torpedo more) with a bit more damage,

 

but also

+12% reload

+27% reaction time for the enemy.

 

T-61 has

 

+ 25% HE DPM

+ 105% AP DPM

+ Hydroacoustic Search

+ 14% HP.

 

Both have the same concealment.

 

I will not even start comparing Gaede to this...

Because after we play the ship it will be - ''WG pls bAff, this ship is crAp'', so we need to cry loud that it is OP while we can without having it.

What concerns me, is that its every time, like you mentioned before reliese of something new. People notice that something is going to be bad (like RN DD that will need a different playstile) and when theres something good then its OP and needs to be bad, which they will cry about later and ask for buff ( and repeat the loop endlesly).

 

So the conclusion is that theres no limit to communitys stupidity, they will always cry that there is something wrong, because theyre PERSONAL (individual) needs were not met.

The act of releasing such a broken, unbalanced German premium in time for Gamescom is so absolutely transparent, and a complete repeat of last year. The only difference is that the T-61, compared to GZ, is that it is functional, and it's game-breaking is due to being straight up overpowered instead of just ... whatever the GZ was, a dumpster fire?

 

It screams corporate meddling, some marketing fat-cat who has never had a hard day of work in their life had this same "brilliant" idea, and the devs are stupid enough to listen to them.

Ive sold all my T6 ships except the Arizona which I got in SC ages ago.

What I worry is how will the flood of T61 effect my Kamikaze play :)

This ship is pretty much on par with Z-39 overall, but takes a T6 slot on the team. 

 

Comparable to Musashi that way. But Musashi is not P2W ofc...

Those videos being shown are based on the last known work in progress, we do not know how the ship will actually be released as yet. I read somewhere that the NDA still hasn't been lifted on the final version, so I'm going to reserve judgement until I see the final release.

We do know it is unchanged for now. 

 

And I don't think there will be an update before Friday.
