You will be reissued your premium ships and piasterstokens doubloons when the games goes live. It did? That is very strange... as open beta lasted so damn long that one day they just announced its no longer beta... and everyone just continued playing normally, without anything changing... so i dont remember any wipes at all! Or is it just that we regarded it as beta... as they kept their version numbers under 1.x Well, seems there was a wipe after open beta... but it still feels strange... as game was regarded as "beta" for a looong time after i started playing and already had HT t30, t9 is4, t54, pershing etc... So im not really sure about that wipe after open beta... as thats when i started playing and i never had to start from scratch after open beta... I had over 10k battles in OBT and an IS-7 as a t10 (I played alot of battles without premium account, might I had also the Maus in OBT but that I don't recollect exactly, I do recollect the is-7 grind though). That progress was wiped..and now I have 31k (not 41k) battles with the is-7 grinded twice...Trust me, there was a wipe.. First they complain they see premium ships but can't buy them, then when they are for sale they complain it is a cheap way for WG to earn a buck. I think that is even bigger reason to complain... so only ones who can test those ships are the ones who pay while game is in horrible state and much testing and changes are to be done to make it worth playing after release? Yet to test certain things you have to pay not knowing if the game will change for the better or not... Makes sense right? But alas... its WG, so its to be expected i guess! (guess giving gold to testers to TEST them for free like in other wg beta tests is just stupid )smart way to sell preorder bundles twice ? [COSTS] Hanszeehock Alpha Tester 3,692 posts 5,959 battles Report post #71 Posted April 9, 2015 what you are getting now are what we call "ghosts", i.e., CBT-only images of the OBT ships and currency. as such, you can use them at will during CBT, as you will be given the real deal when we go to OBT. note however, that crew progress in those ships will NOT be moved to OBT. then, ships and doubloons (or however you write them) will be given when we transition from CBT to OBT, but will NOT be re-given on release, since release will be mostly unifying the gold economy Hopefully this will clear things up. I wrote what I intended to write. Content can be added, damage model and balancing have to be done subsequently and as early as possible. You cannot balance the game without having a damage model and right now the one we have is a placeholder... and quite bad one at that. They already said that they will release the American battleships and Japanese carriers. Those are secondary and unimportant issues.
