According to the 0.7.6 Patch Notes, the camouflages that drop in daily containers have changed.

. . .  containers provide the Blue Lagoon, Storm Wind, and Revolutionary camouflages instead of the Type 3 – Halloween, Type 3 – New Year, and gamescom.

Now wargaming usually provide reasons for changes (e.g. Reduced reload by 2 secs on the "Good Ship Venus" because overperforming) so why did they do this?

I think that it's when you get camo in Supercontainers.

(Camos are great but they always feel like a booby prize compared to what you could have gotten, e.g. a special upgrade or a ship)

Looks like attempt to slow down grind speed. They also dont hand out as many flags as they used to compared to year or more ago which also nondirectly cuts xp. Might be good on the long run for game if people grind few games more every tier before reaching X.

Don't think that's the case one this increases cash and commander XP big stumbling blocks for non Prem players.  Also I really don't think it will make a change in the short to Medium term. How many 100%+ camos do you have. I must have well over 1000 maybe even close to 2000

It wont make change for people with 5k+ battles, but think of those new ones who reach tier 5-6 when real grind for them starts. Also helps to sell premium.

And i have way less 100% camos than you.
