Why they don't give piasters for free ? Its just close beta test, I know that you will get all back but still when you think about that you need to buy piaster in CBT it's kinda lame.

I can still have fun in wot up to tier 5-6 and get even, but after that you need premium in order not to lose ze monee. I bet this will be the case here, it's the company solid financial policy. All the companies who create freemium games have this goal: to make money, lots of it. See gaijin, see candy crush, see angry birds, etc etc etc

 

So, guys (some of you ov course, the vocal ones) when you click that "I agree with the terms" check button you also aknowledge the fact this game is also playable and have a different game experience if you pay for it. But, of course you can also not pay and have fun just the way it is, but bear in mind you can not be upset of the fact some player just destroyed you precious ship using gold ammo, because he bought it for his personal gaming experience (or vanity).

Examples like "premium whore" or "gold noob" we all know. This game will not be different, so in the end will be all about your skills and intelligence.

 

Now go back to what you were doing.

Thats the point. They lure more players to buy the pre-release stuff.

Maybe the sold packages of WoT-Pre-Orders were too low.

Plus the glue the beta-testers to the game. Those who spend real money in beta will continue playing the game because...they spend money. They learned from WoWP where a lot of players just left the game.

 

Its a shame. We are in closed beta and supposed to test, even the premium vehicles. And we need to buy Gold to test them. Guess a lot of players are not testing goldstuff then.

For a win mid life with 2 citadel, 0 kills and some 25 hits, I had 120 000 net crédits.  

Don't forget to repair before the end of the battle, it saves money.

you have it now because game give you about double ( xp and money ) with will give you when game come out - or same if you will play with premium time -- same happend with wowp when i played open beta and than game

Are these premium ships that will be available to everyone when we move to OBT or are they unique ones for us?

Looking at that picture, both Ships and Gold are in your account, despite it saying on the shop page that they will only be transfered into your account at the end of the CBT - start of the OBT.

 

So what I would like WG to confirm is if I buy a Premium Ship/Gold/Premium Time now and it goes into my Port now what will happen at the end of the CBT and the OBT when, we all assume, progress will be wiped.

 

1. Will the Premium Ships we purchased from the gift shop survive the wipe (I kind of think they have to, otherwise WG will have some serious legal issues)?

2. If we use Gold to buy Premium Ships form the tech tree will they survive the wipe?

3. If we were to buy the Premium Time package now will we get that in the garage now like the ship and gold in the image above?

4. If Premium time is applied during the CBT will the amount of premium time be reset to full at the OBT start, i.e. if someone had 15 days left would they go back up to 30 days at the start of OBT?

5. If Painless doesn't spend any of the gold he currently has, will that survive the wipe?

6. If he does spend the gold will he get it back following the wipe, i.e. is he free to spend it in the CBT only to have it again to spend in the OBT?

7. Is the OBT closer than we might have imagined?

Current testers who purchase a bundle will effectively receive the contents twice – once for testing purposes during the CBT and once again during Open Beta when CBT progress is wiped.

This means that CBT testers will be able to use the Premium Currency and Premium Account time of their purchased bundle during the CBT to help their progress, as well as help us balance the economy of the game.
