What determines whether an incap main battery turret or torpedo launcher needs to be reloaded after it is fixed? It seems to be random.

Knocked out mid-reload = have to go through full reload after repaired

Was reloaded when it got knocked out = still is reloaded after repaired

I thought that was the case, but have experienced some occasions where I thought the weapon was loaded and became unloaded. But eyewitness accounts are the lowest form of evidence; I'll have to pay more attention to see if there is a bug in here or not.

Does that happen while using AR by any chance? There have been rare (and I mean VERY rare) reports of AR having "negative" effect on reload stuff, like AR+EL making you go through full reload, or AR still making you wait a few extra seconds before you can fire as if you didn't have it.

 

So my best guess would be some very rare buggy interaction
