second game 2 hits 2 main turrets destroyed

seriously this is [edited]  and got nothing to do with simple bad luck anymore

 

anyone got a list with UNDOCUMENTED patchnotes from somewhere than can explain this ?

Today 2 battles with Mogami, in both 4 out of 5 turrets destroyed (totally without chance to fix). And normally I get 2-3 turret damaged or destroyed per battle (nagato, mogami, New orleans, myoko)

I had 3 turrets blow off by 1 salvo. Have the turrets been tweaked or something?

Notecing huge increase in the amount of critical hits on turrets and haven't had many games where I don't lose a turret.

I played 17 games in the Cleveland so far, 15 before the patch and 2 after the patch

 

Before the patch maybe 2 or 3 turrets lost in 15 games

After the patch 5 turrets lost in 2 games

 

yeah thats totally bad luck :hiding:

Main Turrets made from paper before patch never lost a turret since patch I'm losing 3 or more turrets per a battle either someone messed up or theres a stack of people using aimbots or something

Since this weeks patch i have noticed a LOT of crippled turrets. I have noticed I do it a lot more to others but since I got my Cleveland today, boy oh boy, have i noticed it happening to me. First 4 games and I lost 9 turrets! Then this evening, my first Cleveland game after some tanking,after 3 hits i had lost 3 turrets....that was a fun game!

Same happend to me. I was in Aobe, and got all my turrets destroyed. After that I am tottally useless

1st game in cleveland got 3 out of 4 turrets destroyed before i died, amazing, not damaged just totally destoryed...

Yep. Just after I had downloaded the patch I played one of my last battles in the Aoba (yay! no more bitching about that poor bucket of bolts) and it was an almost perfect recreation of the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Cape_Esperance (damage spelled out in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_cruiser_Aoba ) with turrets 2 and 3 destroyed by salvoes from I believe a Cleveland and another American cruiser (Omaha possibly St. Louis). Had a very unproductive game after that - and no port to retreat to and repair!

Same here, since patch my BB guns gets knocked out straight, rarely just damaged. On my Fuso every game I loose at least one turret sometimes 3-4...

But it happen on all ships so shots seems to be causing a lot more pain now. 

 

If this to remain then at least also add option to cause flooding by hitting below waterline enemy ships with AP shells.

It is in a way more historically accurate - see my previous post or reflect on Bismark's last battle, but man it's annoying to go through (I think it should stay in, with a minor tweaking towards a rarer occurrence).

 

In that vein (I'm not certain I like myself for this) it should be implemented for steering and propulsion as well... Again you can find several examples in history. For a ship that suffered damage to her steering and recovered, see Warspite in the Battle of Jutland, and one where the damage was unrecoverable, there's Bismark once more. Damage to propulsion (btw. more often the result of torpedo damage - naturally) see Yorktown (Midway IIRC). Ark Royal got hers back (went down to flooding from a single torpedo, but they had her propulsion up again. Really bad recovery procedures from the 3 tugs sent out to assist meant they tried using her own screws to get her to port, but the strain tore her weakened bulkheads and she went under).

Been seeing more ships with lots of destroyed turrets. Last match I played a Cleveland had just one turret left. My Fuso almost ran out of turrets too two days ago several matches in a row.

 

 

Thought it was freak coincidences, but if it happens more often now. :/

I also can confirm the horrendous loss of turrets especially on the Fuso (yesterday, first 3 games after the patch got me 6 lost turrets). Seems that my sincere hope that WG would not continue to throw out updates with inconsitent patch notes like in WoT was premature. Either that or somebody screwed up the damage models. It just adds another huge luck factor to the already heavily RNG dependent long range combat.

yep damaged/killed turrrets are now far more common on the fuso, played it qutie a bit last week before that patch and got at most 1 turret destroyed, toady finished for nagato -> 6 games  and in 4 at least 2 turret destroyed. Often even after the first hit, who only did 1-2k damage but destroyed 1 turret and damaged another.

Did they buff HE crit damage chance or something?

 

Most lost turrets of mine are due to AP shells so I dont think its HE damage issue.
