An Iowa decides to join us and we set off. D was taken successfully regardless of the fact we were being focussed by the enemy teams Shima, Fubuki and Taiho as well as their Kurfurst and Montana. Not sure what our CV was doing but I noticed him vector his fighters over to the west.........yeah thanks but we're the ones being targeted by their cv. Some amusing chat shenanigans provided entertainment when we finally were sunk. We won, though had we not headed east the team would have been flanked pretty badly. My Nurnberg got citadelled very early on, i guess trying to get/ defend the A cap with a friendly cruiser while two tier VIII BBs were pussying out wasn't the best idea. Had faith from the start! What krautjaeger did not knew was, that this aready was my 4th consecutive battle in my Bayern (going for the win of the day) and nothing I had done in the first 3 battles was enough to carry the team, so I was in quite a bad mood for this game too. He fought quite well against a triple division (2 x Mahan and a Farragut) and came out alive. My questionable moves however, made my Amagi a nice target for the red ships ... I may or may not have scored a pair of juicy citadels which sent the poor bugger to the bottom - in more ways than one. Perth appears to dislike higher tier BB shells. Needs more testing. I, in Benson, was harassed by enemy cv in the short game I had, while our cv tried to manhandle their group of bbs. We were crushed but had a nice little blamegame afterwards.
