Which forum members have you seen in random battles?

Met Zerstoeroer on my Team in his FdG. It was a very close battle and after he died he started shittalking the teammates who ended up higher than him on the XP table

Just met Loran_Battle divisioned with Badgene and Live85 on the enemy team. If that wasn't bad enough they also had a division with Hurz and RubbeldieKatz and Fampf.

 

I was in the Izumo and they didn't like me very much sending me HE flowers the whole game

Met IanH755 in his Nassau, while a friend and I wen't for low tier HE spamming in our Katoris. Was a close game and the enemies (including IAN) were quite on fire. Sory for that mate.

For me, a record number of fellow forumites in one match :

Crysantos and Et_Lanatus_Baro were a bit unlucky as they had on their team a few DDs unaware of radar mechanics

We on the other hand had Reyte in his Hakuryu. The enemy Midway seems to have tried hard, but was no match for Reyte so the battle in the end was quite one-sided.

Are you implying that CVs have a bigger scope than any other class of ships? And that the outcome is decided by who has the better CV driver?

No, I am implying that truly great players (no matter the ship/class) can significantly affect the outcome

As I stated they also had 2 destroyers who made some quite questionable decisions, and an AFK Montana as I heard.

Last but not least, we had in the end 8 players with more than 1,1k base XP.

Hence all these factors contributed to a rather one-sided game, despite some great enemy players on their roster.

I think I thanked team on amazing support, I said I would go B then C and with only two DD's you would expect some of the people to actually stay behind B... but there I am spotting all kinds of stuff and everyone went their merry way to A and C right away. I felt so much <3 in the air

That was the game right after, seeing the Minekaze go down the channel of idiots was not very encouraging and as predicted things didn't work out. 

 

I played crap though btw, 60k dmg but I took two citadels on the very first salvo which hit me so I had to play conservative the entire rest of the match

 

Next post here might be from someone I had in my Hipper battle, I am sure something noteworthy happened there as well

That destroyer going down the canyon of death survived surprisingly long enough to take the flag but his destruction soon after wasn't worth the shot, as usual...

 

I wish I had something else than that New Mexico dog for that map and game, and with less citadel on your side our fate would maybe have been different Next time surely!

Saw my old mucker Rancidpunk (from the far-off halcyon days of youth SGTA), he was in his Ranger & I was in my Minekaze.

 

The battle was on Two Brothers. Rancid supported & played awesomely, & we won by capping them out in a standard battle.

Unfortunately, I didn't notice it was him until the battle was over (my world-class attention to detail skillz again).

Later on you sank me when NO painted me with a radar in smoke desperately trying to re-cap B. Our CV was utter garbage, there is no other way how to put it.

Saw FlirtyZeus this morning on the enemy team.  I was in my Blys as bottom tier, can't remember what he was in.  I charged a Fubuki in smoke early on and killed him but got radar-ed and killed.  Bad Game.

 

Then saw Durin_VI in his Bismarck on the enemy team whilst I was in my Tirpitz.  We were both top of our respective teams and both hard carrying... but ours won

Our division met Izoz in his Gearing. Fortunately we acquitted ourselves presentable, though I was a bit miffed that I didn't get to nuke the broadside Iowa after it detonated Izoz ... was only a 38k salvo and the bugger actually got away with it since me last salvo before we won on points was not enough to kill him.

Met T_H_0_R in his Scharnhorst just now, while I captained König. He was playing with potatoes. I was playing with potato farmers. He did reasonably well, considering he faced superior numbers (and got top of his team). I think I also did reasonably well, at third place with a T5 BB in a match with only four non-T7 ships per team (two T5 and two T6). A little too much time was spent getting into range, and I was on the flank with less action.

I have seen _FTD_ a couple of times...

 

Two times I remember. One time I was in my new midway and he was on enemy team. I got a bit nervous... my team was not flanking the enemy japanese tier x cv. Which was Reyte btw seen him too.

 

Told my team to attack and they lost, they were doing alright up to that point, but they would have lost probably anyway by torpedo planes... not completely sure though. That was a couple of days ago.

 

Seen _FTD_ again today, this time on my team in his montana I think it was ! ;) I tried to defend him with fighter, first set my fighter to defend his ship automatically against dive bombers, then I tried to strafe and successfully did strafe torpedo bombers from enemy. This was when I was in my Essex. Unfortunately not all torpedo planes where shot down, of each squadron 2 survived, I don't think _FTD_ turned.. so the remaining torpedo planes finished him off... he did notice I tried to help him ! ;)

 

We won that game ! Also thanks to him for advancing on B and also me ending up in third place, and he was in a division with 3 others together we were top 4 spot.
