i met Drunken_Jedi in his Independence in a T8 Game on Trident yesterday... we lost... but hey atleast i went down swinging  (i was the Tirpitz)

Met ilhilh today on Shatter. He quite suffered against AS Lexi and it looked pretty grim until we managed to turn it around.

Dunno if you still have contacts with the FiFo folks but I hope they're doing well; long time no see since I stopped WoT. 

 

 

 

 

Yea, their AS guy was actually more of a pain than most AS guys but the main problem was I missed my first 2 TB drops without any interference - it was entirely my fault.  Luckily you and your div mate did as I expected and dragged us to a win.

Met xXx_Blogis_xXx in his Hosho as he was busy ... teaching people the necessities of airstrike evasion tactics ... when sailing in my Kaiser. He was on the enemy team and really went through mine like a hot knife through butter. Towards the end he put his sights on me, but I managed to evade two strikes pretty well and shot down a good dozen of his aircraft doing so, so he decided to go for easier prey.

 

I still died and the team lost (despite Blogis having been conviced HIS team was the worse one for the longest time ), but I didn't die to him, so yay!

 

Naturally we proceeded to join forces for a handful games and clubbed s-erm I mean grinded my Kaiser with indiscriminate pawnage ... though as it turned out his torpedo bombers are a lot faster than my Kaiser and I really had to work for every bit of damage I could snatch from him.

Played with "Sonic_157" in Tier X match (he was in "Shima" and I was in "Tirpitz")... we were at the very top of our team but we, unfortunately, lost the battle... it was "Domination" and enemy had 1 extra DD (they had, IIRC, 4 "Shimas")...

Also met xenopathia. That match was particular funny because literally no one shot at me.

 

In my König ... and I mean NO ONE shot at me. Ever!

 

 

As you can see, no tab for potential damage taken. So not only did no one ever hit me, no one ever as much as targeted me. To reiterate: I was steering the König and not exactly hiding.

 

 

Those bloody buggers just ignored me! The gall of it!!!

Meet Ilhilh in his Benson. thogh was fighting around other cap so i didnt see much of him in actuall battle. Sadly my Team ignored a pushing Khabar wich did a pretty good Job in tearing everthing apart in his path. (dam this Things are HE imun with what Little damage 127mm HE does to them ,-))

Wasn't that the one where I rushed into a cap and died in 3 minutes and still ended 3rd in team? 

 

Or the one where entire team ignore all cap zone's and I had to hold off half enemy team alone while they chased a [censored] Atago across the map? 

 

Seriously, if I play that thing solo it's almost always like that

When I saw the game start I liked that we had a Kebab to your Shima but initially things looked terrible for us.  I capped A but was left on my own and when I abandoned it (to 2 DDs and at least 3 BBs) we were left with 0 caps to your 3.

 

I was then trying to halt that flank from pushing up through B but in the end I got killed in a gunfight with the fubuki/kagero (I took out the fubuki but still a little embarassing).  At the point I died we had capped C but things still looked to be going well for your team so I was genuinely surprised when I came out of my next game to see we had won.  Can't fault your effort from the results.

There should be a mod so that you can see forum members in battle. WoT had that nifty little mod along time ago. You could see the forum members icon next to their name

​Well i Caped but the Karba and a Kagaro pushed with CA and BBs in tow while our flanks suport did a fast 180. After trying and not geting suport i abondomed the cap with 30% HP left put 21 Shells in the Karba but its laghable how Little damage 127mm do with HE on that one even the Baltimore took more damage Shell by Shell that that Monster. Our shima decided to use my Smkescreen to sit broadside to their dds with the result that some Torprs magically teleported into its side ,-))). Goot a Good salvo vs a Amagi coming from behing a Island scoring 7 Torp hits and spend the rest of the time tring to Keep middle cap out of enemy Hands before they simply outnumbered us and i got killed too. Well got okish toward my last part of the ARP Mission so i cant complain.

 

Did a Div with mtm78 and piritskenyer later. We won both games we played thogh some comunicatin dificultys I hardly heared anything since my gamesound was too loud. Tweaked setings hopefully will be better next time.

didnt felt like i pulled enogh for the Team especally on the 2ed game thogh. but the parlay request of the last surviving ship of the enemy Team was worth staying in even after i got sunk ,-)))

It was actually my first game in the Shimakaze.

Guys/gals, why don't we make a game of killing forum members in game? Like you get 1 skull for every forumite member killed ingame. Like a sort of mini-game: dunno sounds like fun to me ATM since I'm drunk AF

Had two run-ins today:

 

Met Jammin in Prinz Eugen, I teased him a bit but in the end the game took bloody revenge: I was bottom Tier with Aoba in a T8 match so I played carefully.

 

I ended up with 26 HE 203 mm (!) shell hits and 2 fires that earned me a impressive 6,6k damage. Perfectly aimed shells against non saturated targets doing absolutely nothing against Gneisennau/Scharnhorst SS. Seems fair, seems legit. HE + fire OP - they need to be nerfed. Also damage system totally not broken.

 

 

Secondly: Met Vulgarny and his division mates Azell and Czachcia.

Me and my division tried to carry to our best abilities but our carrier was AFK, our Farragut lost a meele to a Hatsu (! ) and then our Atlantes were tremendous idiots beyond recognition. (*Insert rant about weekend-wallet warriors here*)

 

I wrote in time in chat that we would need to get back to defend our cap, ofc ignored. Later as expected a Hatsu got spotted ..... easy if you got not 1 but 2 Atlantas with you ....... or so you would think! Because winning is optional. Ignoring chat, the minimap, pings, common sense in order to properly suicide without achieving anything - is not.

 

I pinged the map, I pleaded them in chat to shoot the spotted destroyer right next to their fu<king broadside ..... but I guess it was more important to drive out in the killzone of fu<king 4 Battleships and 2 Cruisers and try to melee a Warspite. Honestly: HOW STUPID AND DENSE CAN ONE BE?!

 

Loran saved my [edited]there after I dodged the Hatsus torps.

 

In the end with "4 ships down from the start" we simply couldnt win.

 

I also got a reminder that the "economy test" isnt there any more ...... I made a 2k profit, and that only because I put on that 10 % repaircost-reduction-flag. -> lol.

Came across Cherry2blost in his Campbeltown sealclubbing @T3. I finally got my 1st Nassau match since the patch. He scouted and torped out front and i just blasted away. We ended up as top 2.

 

Also met krautjaeger on my side earlier in the day. Unfortunately his Nurnberg did not last long

Met 22cm and his div.mate skydiver_ger today , luckily on the green team, they proceeded to help me and my team to win the game and i had a decent game in my new Dunkerque.(2nd game ever). But i somehow came out on top with 3 kills and 78k damage, and a feeling that the Dunkerque can be good :-) . thx guys for making it happen.

Met GeneralKrizmuz today on the enemy team; we were both in our Bensons. Was looking forward to the battle and sure enough we met each other almost immediately. My team won the match, but sadly I died early because I blindly wandered into his torpedo spread that wasn't even fired at me but at a BB quite a few kilometers away . That was a bummer. He played great though, was top of his team!

Met ghashpl - he pretty much carried quite a few of us while I was busy missing easy shots on the Hindenburg. 

Managed to score 94k damage and had fun brawling with several ships within 10km so I wasn't really disappointed (considering it was a tier 10 match and nobody was camping).

But looking at the scoreboard I guess ghash had quite a bit more success (Confederate)
