Which forum members have you seen in random battles?

Yesterday i was in same team ranked with Tuccy, he played really good with his indianapolis, and now had an encounter with Trigger_happy_dad, he was on the enemy team in IJN CV, match won with an epic cap deny at the begining just myself. Was killed by happy, but it was totally worth it, great battle fun And it was my battle to attain rank 10.

Our division (Hanszeehock, WolfGewehr and me) ran into ShockPirat today, so me imprumpto made a 4man division and rolled the enemy over. Funny thing is the enemy had five IJN DDs (two Fubuki, two Hatsuharu and a Mutsuki), yet after countless torpedo attempts the only managed a grand total of one torpedo hit on our division (Wolfie took one in his Tirpitz, shame on you for ruining our flawless BB victory!).

But that was one gloriously bad battle. I'm sure you noticed the impressive ranking of our team. I basically just did my own ship in damage (killed a Hipper in a Hipper and was killed short after) and was still third in the team... That Iowa complaining though. Ahhh the laughs afterwards.

 

Yep. It was one bad battle overall. No one seemed to be able to shine in any way. I left battle soon after that Amagi kamikaze stunt, so I didn't have the fortune to listen to the Iowa complaining (or I simply just failed at reading chat).

My team didn't give a fokk about the cap zones, and our camper Colorado only started to fight with his full HP BB when we were all dead, so yea. ;)

He complained at all the people dying etc. Then we pointed out that from his position he was completely unable to affect the outcome of the battle. Then we left. Iowa-derp managed to survive the game and still not get above the guys he complained about.

On topic: Met SkyBuckFlying in ranked today. He provided some great plane defense in his Rangers (shot down 43 planes).

I also did quite well in Shchors but we lost nevertheless thanks to an epic Colorado camper in our team.

At least as consolation I did not lose a star

I met SkyBuckFlying in my team in Ranked..... sadly i could not drown myself before he started giving orders to every one... (and yes we lost that battle)

 

SkyBuckFlying stronk in spotting a CV with his Myoko and instead of attacking that CV, he made a 180 and sailed away from it. 

 

Had him in the same team today. He was in a Ranger and ordered our three DDs to go hunt the enemy Saipan right at the start of the battle. To me it looked as if the only thing he did all game long was trying to finde the enemy CV to attack it. Oh, and giving dumb orders. Which were followed by some player. Which made us lose the game.

 

 

really mate... just sad... go back to WoT...

Just met Dropsiq in a Ranked game, which was quite fun. It was my first victory today and my return to rank 14.

He was in his Indianapolis contesting the B cap i capped earlier. While he engaged a friendly Farragut, i started rushing him in my Mahan and eventually sank him.

However, we all sufffered from heavy lag spikes and rubberbanding, so yeah.  -_-

 

Was still fun though, seeing a Nagato teleporting all over the place while my shots did the weirdest crap.

It was like in one of those animes where you shoot a bazilion missiles and the fly all over the place.

 

Also met Strangers in his CV this weekend, and yes we lost that game.

Nah seriously I derped out hard, but in some of the other matches I managed to be semi useful I even beat Reyte / strangers123 a couple of times in the team result screens ( but they did ofc point out that the xp system is a bit flawed ).

Saw ShockPirat earlier on 2 Brothers in his Molotov. He managed to get a kill but the rest of his team were shite pretty poor. Didn't notice you until I was checking the after battle results, my apologies for that.

I just ran into Skybuckflying in his Ranger on a ranked game. He did alright, got some good strikes through the enemy Hiryu's fighters.

Tbh saw you several times in your Nagato that day. The name sounded familiar a bit but I did not recognize it fully. Still wondered if i had seen it somewhere. (Since most of the time i play ranked i check for forumers so i can focus or support them)

Just met imply_tha_best in Ranked. 

Was a fairly one sided game for my time, Imply's team decided to come at us piecemeal, with him desperately trying to hold their rear for them, he scored a Nuernberg in his ARP Myoko fairly early, while I was chewing through his team's cruisers with AP in a Myoko myself one at a time before burning his battleships to the ocean floor. 

And as promised, I gave him combustible lemons, I don't think he liked them, they must have been sour as he sunk after. *Cough* from my good 'kill secure'.

Was my first game of the evening with them, I derped out so hard

 

First derp -> stern tanking a Shima torp I seen coming for ages... then not much later getting skilled by you. I didn't realize you were on our flank, lack of situational awareness and when I spotted the torps I knew considering the angle and speed I was going I was dead. Well done. I thought we would lose that match, every one of us though we lost, and then we didn't

To be fair you had just turned so I knew you weren't gonna turn again. Also we had an Atago in cap so I guessed that your team would think that it had been the Atago that capped and that was spotting you so it was just one of those situations. I did a full murder top salvo on you from 6.5 km - no way you could have dodged that.

 

We shouldn't have lost that but our Zao refused to shoot at Reyte and instead focused Joe_Jitsu in his Tirpitz. I think that his thinking was that had he killed Joe, the match would have been won. Didn't work out.

 

I must admit that I was annoyed at the RNG on the salvo that Reyte landed on me. 3 shells and none of them overpenned so I took like 10k dmg.

Not more sour... Just more salty...   And Well played. There is nothing one can do when your team doesnt want to win anyway...

Met Skybuck today in his Ranger on ranked. He did well (sniped our Hiryu in early game) but his team's both BBs derped hard and we won eventually...

Met NemesisActual and his division mate on Trap, we were on the same team.  I was a bit worried to begin with as our team had 1 DD to the others 3, and this on domination.  However in the end the enemy team kind of melted giving an easy victory.

Met Phlogistoned (Blyskwica) on my team in ranked.  It all sounded organised in chat but somehow wasn't - either I misread the flags or everyone said yes to B+C and did their own thing... but I sailed towards C in my Colorado on Tears of the Desert and then spent most of my time in a fighting retreat towards the islands behind B.  I was in limited danger due to only facing 2 CAs at about 12km (breakfast) and long range fire from their 2 back line BBs.  Phlogistoned died relatively early but we had command of A and B and seemed to have a comfortable time of things for the duration of the game.  That was win 2 of a mighty 4 win streak in ranked pushing me to rank 11... then a loss that left me with 0 stars on 11 this morning.
