Which forum members have you seen in random battles?

Had a great string of games with Kurbain and Aotereas earlier. Me in a Hatsu and them in Pensas, all but one game came down to the wire and they played exceptionally well, supporting me while spotting and cleaning up enemy DD's for me while I was knife-fighting them. We placed in the top quarter for xp every game and even all scored above 1500 base xp each on a loss once.

We had 4500 base XP between the three of us on a loss and we still managed to lose because that Kutuzov decided to spend all its luck on that round instead of playing the lottery (and because our two remaining BBs were in the upper right corner of the map the entire match)

 

And then there was the issue with the 2 bugged Amagi shells dealing nearly 15K damage each:

Saw Gunship14 tonight in his Atago on my team, well... he saw me first ;-)

 

I was kinda busy being shot at for a tad too long and bought it eventually, but the team won.

I spent 5 minutes trying to kill a New Orleans in my atago 

 

I also saw Crusherheads yesterday but he didn't greet me back

so i ran into Loran_battle, tobyJug and havaduck earlier . they had the advantage in their sheer number of DD's on their team compared to us. was an interesting game where RNG was against me ending in Havaduck ramming me

Sad to say I ran into ammattimies in his kagero in land of fire on our team. Had blamed everyone except himself for us losing, especially those of us in cv's. Somehow the 39 planes I shot down wasn't good enough. Two squads of ranger fighters cannot protect all ships in the team and sometimes have to reload and refit. Also doesn't help when the team clumps together on one flank leaving an entire flank wide open for a colorado and yorck to have a clear run at the cv's. Perhaps he'll be in a better mood next time. He got me into a bad mood too and I said some things so I logged off And called it a night,lol. I've had bad days too, trying to improve my ingame manners though! Sometimes teams don't click together, this one was ok, but the enemy were better.

While on one side, I of course dont endorse shooting at me at all ( ) but on the other, you never ignore one with my cultural background or you get to witness  a Tegetthoff-style-manoeuvre from really really up close.

 

 

I was completely oblivious to the fact that good guys/forumites were on the other side; must have overlooked the chat. Only after the battle your name was ringing some bells.

 

Still good game from you guys - so three cheers to you.

i rarely mention bumping into fellow clan members it happens too often and you would be surprised i know quite a few follow the thread. then again my first game of the day had _FTD_, Spithas and Articstrike on enemy team against me and Kubusc7.  my amagi and kubusc7 fubuki vs FTD's atago and spithas and artic in their amagis was a hell of a fight but superior numbers and a frustratingly bad NC cost us the game. but it was such a fun game i didnt care

Yep, was engaged on TS. Dunno, maybe there was another reason I didnt pay attention at the beginning of the match, but the bottom line is - didnt know it.

 

It was only after I asked you in chat if you were a forumite that Loran immediately mentioned that he had already talked to you guys. ^^

Vanhal in his kirov was on my team but my Colorado could not break the enemy teams hold on the A cap despite most of the team lemming to that side in the beginning.

Just saw Tilisssie in his Tirpitz in my Benson - we were both on the same team, thought we'd lost because our team did amazing stuff ... but we won the battle 13s before the game ended

Met Noobsplatter on the opposing team as Loran_Battle, Naatibus and myself were divisioning through t5. Loran beat me to it and killed Noobsplatter, but I got his division mate at least, though the latter was a Pyrrhic victory at best because he put me below 2k HP with his last salvo.

Trigger_Happy_Dad a few days back, playing his Lex. He CV sniped me though :c

Met ReaperJack_GBR (Kongo) and Hoqe (New Mexico) while in a division with AO-(tearas) (Nicholas) + (me = Kongo) .

 

It was such a fun game! I had to watch out to not fu<k up completely due to pure fun (or typing in chat )!

 

It had everything from a chat (from POI! to PONY!) to a cap drama (thou shalt not cap!), then my faithfull pet-dd got killed (noooooooo!) and even a epic showdown in the end.

 

They had a BB advantage and since I knew that there were people with good aim, I decided to mostly go: "screw all armor - I am going full battle-CRUISER on them". Worked out pretty well. 

Also my pet DD did a marvellous job  - like swatting off that pesky fire throwing ... well .... firefly - the enemy team likes to call a DD.

 

 

At the end fight I was torn who to shoot .... him (Reaper) or the Lexi and I switched targets maybe to often. It was only when I announced to AO that I would go for cits on the CV and the ram on Reaper that ..... the game was suddenly over!

 

MUUUUUUUUUUUH Citadels! (because everyone knows in their heart that all carriers are in need of killing - no exceptions)

Even worse: Reaper was also determined to ram me .... double Kongo-honorabru dispray denied!

 

So we lost, but I dont care since it was so much fun! (still got high Calibre and a Cred-Flag out of it )

 

 

 

but like I said: POI! ....... and Pony! ..... always gotta have Pony! (you know you want to click )

 

 

 

........ and then we teamed up and crushed the enemy even harder together. ^^

I had this great plan of shooting HE over the island to set him on fire as I was turning and planned to run away while baiting. Sadly he was aware and returned the favor with some citadels
