Another forumite I've been against is @Paimentaja, whose division was finished off by heavily RNG-blessed thundering guns while pinned by the threat of DDs on their other flank. Still, I didn't survive the encounter either. As for being on the same team, leaving aside the battle @Muppeteer mentioned before in the thread, @lup3s and I had a pretty good match and the only one in this post where I wasn't on the bridge of a fat lady. Our CV and "Musashi" quickly devide a cunning plan an they sniped (and killed) him immediately at the strat of the game... Our CV ended with 4 kills and I, in my DD, was the last survivor with him... I remember that first battle, specifically because of your CV-player who has a reputation of yoloing in the CV into the middle of the map and die early. This time he either must have hit an island or finally got smarter. Funny you'd find the replay. It was a good result from anything but a flawless play. I said hello, which prompted Deckeru to claim battles are always lost when a forumite says hello. Turned out that Deckeru was absolutely correct, though I think it wasn't the greeting that caused the loss but our last two BBs, both Lepanto, appearing to think that presenting a flat broadside to the enemy BBs would be the best way to clinch a win in the dying seconds. The last guy even smoked up and sailed straight at the last enemy BB, another Lepanto, when he could have sailed away and had a chance of winning on points. I took an early bath after having dev-struck their Tirpitz only to suffer a rush of over-confidence and stuck around rather than bugging out and firing from range. I'd like to have posted a screenshot but my game decided at that point that my computer had been running for long enough without an issue and resolved that by carking itself and taking the rest with it. Sorry for that I badly influenced the MM The WLADY actually crept somehow slowly around the left cap and was fighting from the second row, as far as I saw it (it was behind me until I got sunk), while you were busy around the center cap. Interesting, how games are perceived differently. But it indeed kind of stole "my" SURREY kill... So I can understand the frustration. I even usually s*ck royally in battles whenever I can read "Hy Deckeru, I know You from forum" or just when I recognize a forumite in battle... Not this time, though... With T7 in a T9 battle I still managed 90k damage, but only one sinker... and while I managed to hold the C cap for quite a while, I took a beating so it only took that enemy russian T9 or T10 to take me down... And yes, those BBs threw the win away, as we were ahead and they only would have had to survive and defend on cap to win... but hey, that's BaBBies for you, right Maybe we have more luck the next time we meet... or even better, we end on opposite... always the best battles against people one knows Oh.. and it's "he" for me... no need for genderistic "them/they" sublety 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

We saw @Redcap375 and his buddies a bit later, he was in Ise (I had sunk mine the game before and uit had not returned yet). Good game, and we had to fight hard but in the end we got them all. When we do click-in randoms, that's the whole idea. You either end up on one side (which is troll, but also fun) but we know if you take BBs and DDs then you end up opposing sides.
