Just got @T0byJug on my team, I think man that's great now we are certainly gonna win (as I was in FDR...).

So, how can you lose when you have a [SCRUB] lord in a Moskva on your team, and you are in the CV... well... 

As it turned out, I had just only put 16 torps in a few BBs and 8 in their manfred CV, my team already had left T0by to die on his own. 

Eh, and they did proceed to do that so after 9-10 minutes I was the last one alive... guess how it ended. 

 

Yes FDR is quite powerful, a T10 Ark Royal, lots of spectacular stuff but well... slow AF and you just cannot carry these sort of matches. 

Team can poitato lots faster than you can kill the rest. And yes I "managed" to kill their CV but hey he didn't move at all until he tasted the last drop of my torpedoes. 

From that on, I just passed over the map, dropped a BB, dropped a cruiser - and last drop went into Manfred who didn't move away much... 

 

Hope better one next time T0by, maybe we should bring some friends...

Met @Uglesett in his Enterprise yesterday while captaining a Azuma myself. Unfortunately for him he was solo while I was in a division and his team let him down big time, so we won rather easily.

@Ze_Reckless twice, although I only remember to some degree the details of the first battle: he made honour to his IGN by fighting alone, in open waters and against overwhelming opposition in Colbert, and although I offered him my Shimakaze's smoke in order to disengage I arrived too late for that. @asalonen's Baltimore and fellow division while playing Minotaur IIRC, an epicentre game with heavy fighting for the circles. On a different match, my Großer Kurfürst didn't live long but thanks to @El2aZeR's spotting I managed to get a First Blood with secondaries. Finally, and just to keep with the tradition, my side losing in the presence of @Muppeteer.

Met @MrWastee and his fellow THESO clanmate @HMS_Kilinowski. Lucky for me they were on the greens. 
We had an easy time mashing up some... yeah I got one of the DDs... almost.

It  was a Kamikaze R sealclubber so I do not feel guilty... well maybe just a bit. 

 

Had to do my duty and not be tempted to farm BBs... still XP-outdragged the Ranger. 

Did we win? Of course we did!

Yeah, I am not a good enough CV player to carry a team like that. I probably should have focused more on your side of the map, but at the same time that was also where most of the AA was concentrated, so not sure if it would have helped any.

 

GG, though  Apologies if I robbed you of a Dreadnought at the end there, but I was desperately trying to reduce the number of guns on the red team, and you were the lowest health target by that stage.

Always a pleasure. And its hardcoded into the MM algo - if you are in game with me then its loss regardless of whether we on same team or otherwise. This only works for @Estaca_de_Bares. Also epic match with @Ze_Reckless and his division last night.  Hope you passed on my compliments to your guy in London.

@Estaca_de_Bares In a shima, my opponent in a uniquely boring T10 game, cyclone, my DD died instantly, blind as a bat, 15 mins of blindfire in my hinden.
Prime example of the scoreboard being a joke sometimes, he came in last with 800xp but him spotting and being patient was the N°1 reason his team won ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Not only last of my team but also surpassed in BXP by all but three members of yours. Yes, patience was key, I even told it to my Salem and Petropavlovsk: I'd lay screens and spot for them instead of going in since that cap is too enclosed for my liking but it was the one I spawned in front of, so...

Long story short: Us up 2 to 1 caps, and I believe it was a 6v3 at one point.
Somehow my remaining potatoes just threw their ships away completey.
A petro doing [edited] all at D1, A full health GK and Thunderer sniping for the first half, then sailing broadside in short range once they stopped the backline nonsense.
A terrible game for our side overall, but I guess we both did well in the end. :-)

yea, we had no caps, down ~300 pts and 5v3 with me at 50% and zao with 7k , when your full thunderer and GK charged the cap with benham and petro was on my broadside.

well, petro was spamming HE to my broadside, benham got spotted by Zao and shot in smoke and zao also crippled the GK, got perma flood on him and broken rudder. Thunderer panicked and just sit the in my secondaries range bow tanking and shooting AP that all bounced on me

Yeah the Zao was an MVP there.
I really thought my 3 early kills had this game bagged for our side, until the potato fiesta began.

After the Benham went full yolo to dump all his torps for "moar dmg" and GK+Thunderer following suit shortly after, I tried capping B to let us have a chance to at least win on points, but he (Zao) came back to block it.
While I did manage to burn him down after he healed back to 15-17k, it cost me enough time that your Shima was able to cap C.
At that point my only option was to get kills to stall the points loss, but unfortunately Shima ran away behind island cover and you did the smart thing by retreating too.
It couldn't be saved anymore by that stage.
Used about half my negative karma on that game, including a big, fat -3 for the GK for his 18km "sniping" play early on, and his later throw of the year at A cap.

In randoms, @VeryHonarbrah's Petropavlovks and fellow division while playing Shimakaze. Unfortunately he couldn't exact revenge on my behalf, the red Puerto Rico was saved by the bell. Also faced a forumite of old, or at least one I haven't seen around since before the CV rework, in ranked: @gekkehenkie50, whose Shimakaze was only spotted while not firing guns IIRC when he entered for a second into my Minotaur's radar range.

Ehya ^^/ yee, I'm sneaking back into the game now n then, picked up balansgrad this ranked. But this new sniping meta is so weird. Seeing entire flanks start kiting from the moment the match starts, idk how I feel about it. Dmg numbers couldnt be higher, but carry potential couldnt be lower >.>

Met @gopher31 in Parseval, our team prevailed easily thanks to his skills. I was kicked out for few minutes and did little in my Mysore. Only my 2nd battle in her, so hard to judge how she will turn out. So far I like this boat, heal on tier VI is not common, and crawling smoke + hydro combo is very nice. A bit toothless against well angled or charging BBs, but if positioned correctly she can make an impact.

While in Musashi, @Captaindanz (Enterprise) first, then @lup3s and @Saiyko (Black and Iowa). About the first match, let's say that I impersonated Al Pacino while he played the role of Keanu Reeves, but things didn't happen quite as I expected. Oh well, patience, maybe next time. As for the second one, half the reds fell due to us, with lup3s taking the lion's share XP-wise. My Shimakaze faced @POIfection's Småland (so to say: the three ships on my flank dominated it and got the only kills for my team while he went to the other) and later on shared team with @Figment's Marceau. The red Shimakaze that sank him found his demise in my hands and was denied the possibility of a Flesh Wound by a Smolensk of ours.

Two close salvoes because of bad timing (as he approached the island for getting into cover his autopilot started turns right when I shot) and a ricochet. My impression is that having Dead Eye was actually detrimental to the sniping. I've also noticed in other battles that, for a same distance shot, I hit less when spotter is active compared to before the rework. Time to adjust the sights again, I guess.
