o7 @LemonadeWarriorITA, was a fun battle!

@Captain_Newman in his Småland while I was playing Minotaur, before Christmas. The battle started well for us (he owned one cap, I got another), but then a general brainfart ensued. I think the team was taken by surprise by the massive push through middle by the reds (Halland, Anchorage, two Richelieus -or Jean Barts, can't remember- and Bagration). I'd certainly never seen such a thing tried before in Sleeping Giant.

 

More recently, @The_Chiv's Yoshino on the same team as my Shimakaze. Since it was just one destroyer per team I gambled by going to the westernmost cap in Greece (spawned at middle) in order to take it while torping the reds' side of B, hoping for their DD heading to a different one, and it actually worked.

Yeah it worked out well. Just got the Yoshi reminds me of the Atago, but with much better range.

Had a fun time yesterday with @NothingButTheRain & co doing Ops (Narai & Aegis).

 

Was a welcome and relaxing break after Ranked battles 

 

We even had competent randoms in Aegis ..

Just played my last Snowflake Co op and  @DFens_666 was out in his Akatsuki, compliment returned fella. I died pretty quick because the Alaska ran away and left me up against there Smalland, a CA & a BB :-(.

Yeah, smokeless DDs are really not much fun to play in coop. When i collected my snowflake from Smaland, i just got demolished aswell... probably because i had Smolensk, 2 Venezias and a Zao shooting me while my team all camped behind islands

I dont get why people play so passively in coop.

And yes, it was the best quality time I've had ingame for quite a while. Always a pleasure if you're gaming with fellow competent and mature teammates

Just had a battle with @Srle_Vigilante on my team in his/her Myoko - I was in my Kitakaze.

The teams consisted mainly of T8/T9 ships - and there was a Parseval.

 

Despite the crappy MM (and something else ) he still finished second - well done !

We met Masterrrr @El2aZeR in his Enterprise today. Need I say how it ended? 

Well it looked for a minute as if even he could not carry this many potatoes. 

But in the end, it was my teammate in the Graf and a Bismarck... and they had more points... 

My divvy tried to get El2s CV but alas. So, indeed... 

 

I was in a DD this time (knocking off snowflakes), how badf are teams, well I'm not last that says all...

so yes I did get smacked. But took longer than expected. He must have pitied me. 

Seven kills though, damn that is a big cart of taters to carry.

Just met @ForlornSailor in a ranked game.

It was a rather "interresting" game, but we carried the potatoes. Just barely tho.

Still, a much easier win than what i have to suffer through usually.

 

Was nice playing with ya mate! Hope, you're never on the red team.

Gave you +2 for the carry.

 

EDIT: couldn't say anything in chat since i'm on extended chat vacation since two weeks ago, i will however be free by the end of January.

Sigh, you...bestowe a few...blessings...on your team mates, and some communist company chat bans you because...blessings...and communism are mutually exclusive.

yup it started in the worst way possible. Those 2 DDs suiciding... But Orkans on my side and almost always useless. They also like to radar my own spawn, because you never know! maaaybe a DD spawnd 7 km away from us, right?

And half way through I still thought we gonna lose it, because our Asashio was incapable of hitting that Odin! I dont know how many waves of torps he missed on him, atleast 6.

 

And so that it doest look like you are bragging, ill just post the scoresheet for all to see haha

Yeah, those DDs drove me nuts.

 

Well, you never know, right? DDs are a sneaky breed and the biggest problem WoWS has¹ so, better save than sorry, right?

The early bird catches the worm and some such. So, it's fine radaring the second the match starts, you never know what you might catch.

You never spot anything for 5k battles, and on 5001st one, you eat sneaky torps because you didn't radar.

 

 

Yeah, that Asashio was hilarious, in a sad and depressing way. He might end up becoming a CV main if he keeps failing in DDs.

The funniest part? The ending, where he missed an almost stationry Massa with his torps. :D

At least he did cap, which is rare.

Still, we had luck.

Imagine having this team.

I asked them to cap C, and i asked for AA support, knowing, the second i start capping A, the CV will be all over me.

 

No fighters, no support whatsoever. The enemy CV was lucky tho, as he had a aggressive Bismarck player as support whos secondaries kept wrecking me.

 

...a few minutes later...

 

 

In moments like these, i really miss the ability to bestowe...blessings...upon my team mates.

I played 3 FDR games last night, 2 of those were lost within 4 mins, and in one of those the team was completely zeroed in 5.

 

 

in the last game I met @Aetius85 who had a nice game in Ohio

I just had one today against @Lordcrafty and his divvies, 3rd game in FDR for me. Managed to get two strikes in... 

Yeah Cvs are broken but this... who do they think I am, I am not @El2aZeR !!

Met lup3s in a rather uneventful game in ranked the other night. Sadly couldn't reply to his greeting because I'm in the cooler. Some games just don't seem to flow well from the start, despite our best intentions.

Just met a forumite @Srle_Vigilante and his divvie in game, unfortunately I had to kill him as he was on the reds.

The slowness of FDR is kinda funny, wasted loads and loads of torps - just before they hit, somebody else kills them LMAO.

We had one Conqkek, hit him first, got no fire, went for a Yammy that was parking at the rear. Told him I like killing rear-parked BBs.
He said I wouldn't kill him and he was right - torps running, BOOM somebody else kills him. Then that Conqkek runs into an island, same thing.

I see him do it, run in full speed (well, speed... it is FDR...) launch full set, perfectly on track... Well, lost a load of planes but no cigar.

So, instead of the expected +100K, this is what I got. Was funny though with all the comments. 

 

BTW you "only" ate 7 rockets (out of 52) in Smaland. Even that Montana could not eat them all... yes we'll need a bigger boat...

He ate 38 and that was two deliveries. I have even had it happen a DD ate ONE of the 52... RNGesus is strong in this one.

That FDR though, man it is definitely OP as well as broken AF (all CVs are). I need to go shower now....
