(should see the chat when T9 players get confronted by Ark Royal... and lose...). In this case we were grinding them, he has the T7 already and I still need a few games. Happens 1/20 you get T9. But... I got Friesland... See ya around & keep torping! I knew I was stupid... I dunno if it has torps or not... so, it wasn't Friesland... but there were a sh... load of them... Even then... you'd have noticed if you had gone pink. They weren't yours. A measure of how abject the performance was is that I sank the only enemy ship and finished second by xp despite doing little more than sailing in circles trying to drop as many torps as I could before their Smolensk finished me off. +1 sent for feeding me three planes as a small boost to my totals. Not a particularly good game on my part, I mostly just made their DDs miserable and then potatoed into a lot of flak (I blame the spotty Internet connection at my parents' holiday home), but they were saddled with a team that potatoed even harder, so my team still won. I didn't do much (needed around 15 battles to complete the damage one) compared to him: he sank 3 bots, the last of them a Scharnhorst by ram IIRC. LOL Since I rarely play Random I never expect to be mentioned in this thread I'm trying to get somewhere using the 7-day premium I got for 250 doubloons as who knows when will be the next time I get premium days So far the Italians are still not my thing but it would be nice to have a higher tier in case they improve it in a later stage. The first one was a massive victory, the second one an utter defeat, although the red Moskva will probably think twice about overextending in open waters next time. Me in the Admiral Hippster and he in a Kleber on the other side of the map... and he shot me right when the battle started.. Great aim! Didn't do enough damage to keep this witness from surviving to tell the tale about him going in the depths of CoOperational combat ^^ In the end I survived and ended with three bot kills on the #1 spot, while he got sinkered with two kills on the #2 spot...
