And I'm going to be kicking myself for what happened, because I was so hung up on spotting his torps for the Richelieu that I strayed too close, let him spot me and ended up getting killed. Which was just the points nudge they needed to win the game just as the time ran out Still, two good and intense games, GGs and thanks for the matches to both of you Hide contents Both those games had EVERYTHING! 1st game was a monster carry and so glad I had you as fire support on that flank to keep the DoT ticking, here's my screenie for that Second game came right down to the wire! I did not realise it but as I threw it all into one last charge I got told by my div mates I killed you and turned the points with 1 second left! I might as well send him mine in addition to show a bit of what happened on my end of the map. I'm sure about missing two related to the disembark (lost one of the transports and less than 1400 soldiers landed) but I can't recall what the third one was about. I agree that Fiji is the most suited cruiser for the operation as it is now, like Atlanta was during RTS times. There are plenty of low tier targets which eat citadels left, right and centre, and for the BBs and the CV the torpedoes work really nice. Salute. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

He thought we'd be pretty useless but I guess we weren't. Maybe Baguette cruiser is OP, ask Friesland (he was the reds best player ahhahaha) I ate his torps though, my bad (used to it though as I always go whack DDs when bottom tier). Our team was nearly caught by surprise by a Roon (I think) and a Harugumo flanking us from the north. Our team had the numbers though, so we pulled a win (I played a somewhat smaller part in it). Funny thing is it was my first game straight out of chatban myself....people are such soft touches these days. Seem to be getting chatbanned for nought much of the time so whats the point, may as well earn it now and then, haha. So I criticise when I feel it's due to help people think about next time, it's done to me too. All part of the heat of battle in competitive mode. He took the middle cap with his DD div mate whilst I wandered off to one of the flank caps. First game in the fubuki for a looooong time, so I'd forgotten just how slow the turrets on it turn :P Still, it was a pretty comfortable win in the end, and I had the satisfaction of gunning down a Massachusetts - so pretty content, all things considered.
