By the time I noticed him I was already sunk so he asked why I was dead, so I answered I was trying to impersonate Schrödinger's cat. Later in the weekend, @GulvkluderGuld's Mogador towed most of our team's BBs (I'm sure they resisted a bit, like kids going to the dentist) to A in Tears of the Desert while the cruisers (my radar Minotaur included) and the other DD took and defended C. Although he was a bit pessimistic at the beginning, saying his presence would be jinxing the team, it was a relatively easy victory. If you're going to jinx like that, count me in. His side of the team stayed alive beautifully holding C on tears, while those BBs on my side acutally pushed forward into B cap, helping he gun down a Zao that ate a torp. Started out well, but then our team started collapsing. Still came pretty close to securing a win, but then I got shat on by the enemy CV. I prioritized taking back a cap so we'd win by points, but in retrospect I should probably have prioritized helping our CV kill the Jean Bart. They received so much salt from our team it wasn't even funny, well it kinda was. i say that because we have done that before but it just cheeses too many people off. Me in a DD so that was fun, but still managed to cap like mad, kill 2 and take a Hindy out on me tod. We lost badly with the SCRUB div killing 3 a piece, they did the usual smoke and spot, smoke and spot.... The game was over before it began due the make up of our ships and players. Nothing wrong what-so-ever with the Smol However, it was nice to see that you agreed with both teams and stating that it's "balanced, Lol". You had a laugh with all of it. The only way to not some times die early in DDs is to play so carefully as to be mostly useless anyway. Occasionally overextending is a fact of life if you are going to do well in general in DDs. That CV I find surprisingly easy to smack cruisers and BBs with, citadels galore. Sometimes I get two in one go. 60K for me, could have been more but we had a good team and smashed he reds pretty quickly. At game start told him I got blapped twice already, sneaky buggers those DDs. He guarded me well... nipping one Aigle that tried to sneak up even if I was on map border. And now I have 3 karma points LOL. Never had that many since I play CV. I was in my Atlanta and he was driving a DD iirc and the map was one of the lower tier archipelago ones.
