Started out with your shino suiciding into my MBRB and then the BBs repeatedly grounded broadside on in front of my torpedoes.

Didnt even realize it was you untill the CV was spotted. Was sure you'd kill me first at the end since i was out of MBRB, but then the HE citadels started coming in.

 

Being a greedy soul the only regret was not claiming the final 7th kill too!

Yeah you did damn good. The only player on our team that was good was the DD... I think he had a Gallant. Plus 1 for him too.

We killed two of your DDs (meh meagre damage... but they also tried to snipe me), and were going after some of your BBS

- but after that we were overrun because the rest of our team had melted. 

Once the DD got blapped I knew... I can't keep all of the reds down in a T6 CV 

 

I almost had you a few times, but your "CV planes avoiding tactics" really worked well.

When I had the rockets lined up you turned into them really quick - made most of them miss.

ANd when I had the bombers lined up you made MAAADDDD moves, couldn't follow those...

Any lesser DD (your teammates...) would have croaked it on the first attack (one of them even ate my torps).

 

Grats on the win, and HOLY CRAP you're damn good. Expected trouble, but that was awesome.

I could have moved the CV but it would have been postponing the inevitable. 

I could JUST NOT get the drop on your DD. You need a fair "lead" with Ranger planes.

Don't get too cocky though, it will not work that well against Furious... that turns a bit shorter. 

Might need one more "run" as it is less powerful (unless you're lucky with the carpet bombs).

Met @NoobySkooby or rather fought him on that funny map, in my georgia while he was in his seattle, i think he got pushed out of his island as my team pushed A and i ended up argueing with some bloody arse in the yueyang trying to get me to spot (while i had 15k hp no heals and no speed boosts) two DD's (kagero full stealth and a chung mu).

 

We won the match but it was pretty bad for me on my end only did 51k damage. Minotaur and smolensk got lucky and i wasn't able to land my salvos (which would of gotten me and easy 40k+ damage and 2 kills).

 

oh well.

Just had @dasCKD in his Iowa in my team. Unfortunately didn't notice him until the post battle result screen came up. Only thing I remebered was, that his Iowa went down fighting on C while holding of multiple enemies. Hats off to you sir.

Just had @Padds01 on the enemy team in his CV (Shokkaku), our DD rushed him and i gave supporting fire and his game ended early. Still, i gave him a +1.

Me - Algerie - ate of course a random torp and gut sunk since my repair was on cooldown...still made top scorer after our team zerg-rushed the enemy cap and capped out.

Didnt notice at the time , think i gave you a rocket love tap after i was sunk. my team did a border charge didnt notice looked up 2 dd's and a cruiser right up in my grill ;)

Oh well sorry I never noticed you buddy, at the time I was trying out a new keyboard and struggling with funny things like when the ship goes forward, then it stops, then goes of again, almost like some glitch or something, I have figured it is not he keyboard so am assuming it is some connection problem,at the time I was a tad angry, not with the team or the game which is unusual, lol

Always love it when I meet a fellow forumite in battle.

Went back and watched your replay, but I cant see the aiming circle so it's hard to give any advice.

You did 2k damage on each RF run which is pretty decent for a tier 6 i think. I only played USN CVs from tier 8 and up since I already had the Lexy before REEEwork came along. Lexy HVARs do about 3k per drop. 

That said, USN RFs and are probably the worst for DD work (compared to IJN and RN) which is why i left USN CVs behind when the DB nerf came along.

I have all the tier X CVs so I know how to annoy them too 

 

From what i could see of the DB attacks, you aborted 2 (couldn't tell if misaligned, but seemed like you misjudged the top speed (with boost) of my DD and aimed too far behind). I didnt maneuver at all against those 2, just went full speed.

The 3rd i braked hard to dodge and you barely overshot (if RNG was with you, likely you would get a hit).

Final 4th drop was perfect, but RNG only gave you one hit.

 

Overall I would say well played. Didnt realize how fast the game was really decided, there was too much action for that. Your team simply evaporated. 

Well played to you getting the 2 DD kills and thanks for not drawing out the game ;)

Yeah 2K not bad, but not nearly enough. If you donlt know how to handle DB, a DD will certainly kill you.

I was amazed as well. But indeed it was lost anyway... man when we had done 2DDS, the whole team had melted!

Actually I didn't get 2DD kills (almost though), the Gallant killed one. Must have killed something else.

I've been having bad luck all the time. Melting teams is usually the problem. 

In the higher tiers, sometimes can't even get enough damage to cover service cost.
so, that's why "AP Conqkek" often comes along. 50-70k... in 4 minutes...

Always love it when I meet a fellow forumite in battle.

Regarding those connection issues i got those a lot today (might just be my subpar internet sky if not most mainstream isp’s are godawful). Playing in dd’s is just not my forte unless they are french then i can get behind those since they are like toineh charles martels.

Recognised @Sunleader in the closing moments of a battle just now as he was chasing down the sole remaining Harugumo with his TB's. A fairly straightforward stomp - we easily secured the B-C cap with numbers on North and amazingly didn't sit still so were able to deny the red push beyond the A-third of the map.

That's the kind of problem I was having last Saturday. Ship stops dead in water, chat won't work (always trying saying the F-word at this point), ping goes to -35 and then the game crashes. I had to relog 3 times during one battle on Crash Zone Alpha.

 

However,  the same thing happened yesterday, too. Except that this time I could not log back in because about 30 seconds later my Internet connection itself went on the blink. It came back about 10 mins later, logged back in and found myself in port. When the battle ended, WG 'gifted' me with the always so fashionable pink and a penalty for 3 battles for 'unsportsmanlike conduct'....

Had a quick encounter with @Yedwy today.. He being in his Saipan and me in my Gearing...

 

He promised to be gentle and then tried to bomb the out of me... However, his aim was off today and so I escaped unscathed... I then took out 5 of his aircraft before he went looking for easier foes.

A little banter at the start and some good port conversation after... what the games about really.

Met @Excavatus just now... both on the same team but oh boy what an absolutely useless team... he might even tell you himself. I am dead within 6 minutes because my support runs and leaves me standing... Excavatus had problems his side with Island hugging BB's and either a drunk or drugged Loyang Captain and a CV that couldn't hit a Barn door at 5 feet...... He and his Clan member had no chance..

That match was a nightmare material for sure..

tier 8 battle... everything he said up there was true, but I wanted to open a new () for the loyang captain.

his first battle was that in that ship..
total of 200+ battles in randoms.. top tier ship 5

buys a loyang..

his first move was just reverse behind an island at spawn.. 3 mins later.. he goes out.. get behind all the friendlies.. and smoke.. then sit in smoke..

then go forwards a little bit.. find and island... hides.. never shoots until this point..

at the end.. he charged the enemy Pan asian tier 8 DD.. and died.. because reasons...

Omg... I still feel the little puke in my mouth...

Bumped into @ghostbuster_ on me team.  Even 6 kills couldn't help our useless team full of now-a-day players. Only had a Conq left to kill but ran out of time. The team was utterly useless and died like crippled lemmings. 

 

They cant even stay alive half-way through the game. Usless again, the DD's (except Spicy) were shocking and the BB's worse.  Painful to watch after i killed both their shimmy's from the start then ours managed to get themselves killed straight after. 

 

Another example of players not having a clue what their ship does. Worse it's ever been.

He must have had a nightmarish startle when he saw the screen loading. Not easy to pull yourself together but the last bit with him dying trying to do something kinda moved me, oh well
