Right at the previous battle, @Beastofwar's Shokaku and my Minotaur on the same team. To be fair, this battle should have gone to the reds performance-wise: their two best players scored just 50 and 7 base XP less than ours, respectively, and many of the others were on par with their corresponding foes in the scoreboard if the victory bonus is substracted. They weren't lucky and let us control more caps for too long, though.

 

Oh, and yesterday I spotted @Animalul2012 in a triple République division. My Missouri was sunk pretty soon and I forgot to greet him, but it was funny seeing such a display of republicanism from the Romanian Royal Navy.

Every single ship in that match was Tier X except for the 2 CV's.

 

Tier VIII CV do not belong there, it should be a Tier X CV in their place.

 

To make things worse i exchanged replenisment module for concealment module.....very bad mistake if you are losing many aircraft to tier X AA.

 

BTW : i did delay them from capping 3 x by doing damage to them and got green ribbons for that.......it was not luck that left our side in control long enough.

 

They were celebrating my CV showing up in their visial range - another reason to ditch concealment again - and our side ranting too much to notice they actually lost because of interupting their cap 3 x

Just met @Bear_Necessities in his Midway.

 

Took his team 4.5 million damage hurled into my direction to sink me. Sadly the rest of my team was easier prey and mostly occupied with flaming each other, so we lost. I still had my fun though, so it was good game.

Found it tough to break through the AA at the start. Until your Hindy, GK, Montana and Grozo decided to nicely place themselves in the bowl of death 😂

Just had @FishDogFoodShack on the same team in his Tashkent.

 

Match turned into a bit of a slog because the team apparently wanted to push around C but at least they did push through eventually. meanwhile I was busy farming three enemy BBs with my Azuma and tank- wait no, wrong word ... let's say sponging whilst the majority of our team sorted their W keys out. In the end a rather resounding victory (though point bleed saved the two enemy CVs from catching my AP broadside, meh).

 

Plopped a compliment for CatFishShackDiner because cronyism.

 

 

Funnily enough I ended up getting reported in that game, whereas my previous games all in CVs and happily bullying other ships resulted in free-flowing rage, but no reports. This community really doesn't know what it wants

Considering I still lost karma there's two likely possibilities: either the usual suspects in the BBs didn't like me farming them, or the CVs didn't like me shooting down all those aircraft.

 

Still funny how I can get people to rage in chat about aircraft carries whilst being the target of their ire and get away without karma loss, but the moment I bully other ships in a cruiser it rains reports 

 

 

Hmm, maybe I should take this as a sign and play more CVs

Two Brothers. We entered aggressive in B cap, cleared it and took it back from 2 CC and 1 DD went on and caped D but our other flank folded.

Was in a team that just got spanked by a team @quickr was on. Estuary map. I was driving Jervis, while he was in a Gadjah Mada. 2 CV game. While a bunch of us were fighting (and winning) on one flank, he led their bunch on the other, where they killed off that flank, and he eventually sunk our Kaga (and another ship, not sure which) and came top of their team even though he got taken out.

Eventually it was fairly comprehensive loss for us, with just 2 of us surviving. They capped 3 spots, and won on points within less than 15 min I think.

Well done (pukli smo k'o zvecke)!

Fought an evenly matched CV matchup against @Profilus, coming close to the wire too. Well played. That preemptively dropping fighters onto my DDs as I try to come in to do the same is a trick I hadn't thought of until now, nice idea.

Met @T0byJug in his Neustrashimy, even though I greeted him, I think he didn't notice me. He played hyper aggressive and died very early. I helped with a bit of spotting and a few rocket salvos  from my Lex actually :D
His team won in the end and he was far from bottom on the scoreboard. Well played.
