Just met @dasCKD in his Hindenburg in the Enemy team.

Was kinda meh game i believe for both of us.

Funny thing tho, Iowa shot you = 20k. My salvo just half a second later 1 overpen, Pen without damage 1 bounce

I saw. It was a tactical decision at the time. I knew that I either made that turn or the game ended for me then :P

Funnily enough, from my side that point of the game looked winnable before the twats went off and got themselves killed.

In division with @Mr_Tayto we met on the red team @AmiralPotato in his Khabarovsk. 

We all survived the match. I was also sailing in a Khabarovsk. My first ever shot in her was against El Amiral.

However,....his clan mate in a Midway was rocketing my poor little boat from minute one.

I had to drop out of sight for a while until he found something more interesting to do.

I have seen @NoobySkooby twice in the last couple of days, both times on the enemy team. Said "Hi" in chat both times but the ignorant sod just ignored me. I don't know, the youth of today, eh?

Lol, I did actually say hi last night, sort of took me by surprise meeting another forumite, so much so i nearly sank my own ship, my reply must have got lost in the fog of war,  first time I do not recall, but then in game I am usually blind as a bat and dumb as an ox so recognising forumites is a skill I have yet to develop.

 I guess it did get lost in the fog of war, in fact it probably got lost in the midst of my explaining to the total idiots on my team exactly how little regard I held them in as they pillocked about at the mouth of the channel while your team rolled up what few ships we actually had trying for the objectives.

 

The first game you were in a Musashi and in division with that Venom character.

I think i recall now something said in chat about team mates, i thought it was me, nearly went into panic mode,. venom should have pulled me up if he spotted you, i always feel ignorant if I don't say hello to a forumite it certainly is not intentional.

Ran into the UNIC clan today and had the pleasure of seeing @000_LULU_000 in his Zao play tapdancing the whole match against the enemy team. :) Sorry I was only mid-table with my Implacable though!

Just had an extremely tight game against @rnat in which we snuck a victory in the last few seconds as I was able to "sneek" into their cap and block it :P. @Saltface also played a defensive blinder on the weaker side defending that cap valiantly until he was swarmed to death. GG and may there be many more :)

Our Moskva went Loco solo and I spent the first part of the game protecting his arse in no-man-land. But doing so let me slip around the flanks and smash some lovely cruisers up. 

 

Glad your focus was on the other side of the map as i was quite alone for alot of the game.  Our CV got a bit of stick too (not from me tho) as he wasn't attempting to spot up the lone DD (Shimmy), just farming damage. 

 

Yeah, CG massive but it's a laugh.  No stat padding for this clan 

 

Chuck (shimmy) had a blinding game for you and hes a new clan player, lots of potential. There are some real gems out there still going solo. Hope to bump into you again mate.

Yeah I was thinking about striking you but the seven ships pushing the other flank with Two Conquerors at the Helm made me think otherwise.. One of them got the clutchest heal off I've ever seen  I think he was on less than 2k when my torpedo's were practically on his deck (Assumed i had the kill and was looking at where to go next...)

Had @asalonen on my team right now. I was out to farm potatoes in the Asashio, he was in the Shokaku 

 

Not my best game ever in the trollbote, most of the enemy BBs hadn't exactly taken their brave pills, and I had to hang back a bit thanks to their CV. Got some decent spotting damage, though, and the kill on their LoYang and CV. Didn't pay much attention to what asalonen was up to, but he did a far better job than the enemy CV.

What the Shokaku is good for with that kind of match making: dirty work. Spotting, dumping rockets into enemy DD's, resetting caps. The kind of stuff that seem to get you 2000+ XP without actually killing anybody.

Heh. You can see from the screenshots that I didn't exactly do massive amounts of damage to the two ships I killed (although in the name of fairness, the CV was full health when those torps were launched). So my experience wasn't that different from yours in that regard (I just saw I had 67k spotting damage vs. 48k damage that I did myself :P )
