He was rushing the B-cap on Islands of Ice in a Kurfürst, which happened to be the spot I had picked for my Zao to torp whatever ventures close. He ventured close, but was wise enough to not let himself bait into a prolonged shoot-out. He actually hardly shot me at all, cause there obviously were juicier targets available and I had to switch to two broadside Worcesters. At the end of a quickly lost battle he was surrounded and almost survived, but did not leave before getting himself 2 kills and he was pretty much top of his team. You are absolutely right Captain quick, easy, efficient way to burn through the requirements for the missions when time is limited. Due to various Christmas festivities my time to play has been severely curtailed this advent season, CO-OP provides all the opportunities for a fun grind for me. I pick the shortest route to the enemy and kill as many as I can, I love it when other players treat it like randoms, I can generally do what I like then and enjoy myself. I have no intention of hiding behind islands so I don't get shot at You're right about damage though, get another player or worse, two that know what they are doing and you end up chasing after kills I even took my secondaries specced Bismark out in a Random for the hell of it last night, got top tier, got top spot in a win, put it away with a big grin on my face. So after my div-mate once again got pasted I decided to run in cap, see if I could do anything about the camping. But of course, could not... especially as somehow my guns didn't work on close range??? Expected to AT LEAST be able to blast a CL from really close... managed to avoid his torps... but no... DENIED! Next time maybe the ram. Did 13k damage, well, I have done less when we were the only T10s... Ah well. Yup, that is why I do not rally try anymore, especially not in MM where me and my div-mate are the only T8. If we have to be cannonfodder, might as well be short & funny. Loaded the AP and went for cap. There was only a cruiser in it. Of course, that was a T10 cruiser, with torps, so might as well have been a Tirpitz. But then again, you never know and waiting for my windowlicker team to move, well, I'd rather watch paint dry. Not surprisingly, there wasn't any help either (and tbh I also didn't expect any). You did quite well yourself but unfortunately, more and more people ignore the fact that last wave of the bots must have something to shoot at in order to avoid the destruction of the aerodrome. Most of my operation games have been lost due to this, especially if the battleships hang back: the forts and the aerodrome will then be closer to the enemy and the lower HP pool means that they will be targeted first. Well played in your Myoko though! On a side note, after a couple of rather bad random battles, I must say that the Ashitaka is growing on me: her guns are rather satisfying to use after the shell buff. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
