I run the Jutland with RDF and not IFHE, I'm still experimenting.

I tried that 2 battles, then realized that many DDs actually angle and make your AP ineffective. Thats why I spent my last 4 points on IFHE.

I just had a bottom clenching victory on Trap alongside @Nautical_Metaphor with me in the Baltimore and Nautical_Metaphor in the FDG.

 

I took position on the dimpled island to the west of C that seems to be designed for American cruisers while Nautical_Metaphor pushed deep in to B alongside a Daring to chase down an enemy DD. With Nautical_Metaphor's operation successful I saw my chance to eliminate the last enemy DD on C at my own expense, I loaded HE, readied radar and yolo'd out, unfortunately my gunnery was atrocious and I barely managed to chip the enemy DD before being focused by 7 enemy ships. I went down followed by Nautical_Metaphor shortly after, he heroically stopped the enemy push out of the 5 or 6 grid squares their entire team was occupying in the north east.

 

The game eventually came down to a single green North Carolina on the south of B against 4 enemy ships, but our cap and points advantage coupled with the enemy being horrendously out of position to the north east led to us reaching 1,000 points before they even managed to find our North Carolina.

 

I enjoyed Nautical_Metaphor's in game communication, his good technical skills against a DD and his sound strategic decision making in halting the enemy advance at his own expense which ultimately won us the game.

The team slaughtered the leftover bots without us though, so all ended well...

:D... well yeah, kicking off snowflakes mostly ends in goin into coop, full steaming right in, pwn everything possible while dying as quick as possible, out to port and rinse/repeat...

funny enough that kinda often puts one to the upper end of the scoreboard :D... <def'o no coop lUv3R

I lack the trust in my "teammates" to do it like that - every game they would lose would keep me from getting closer to the 99.99% CoOp winrate... ^^

Today I had fun in the Arizona, reached rank 5 easy and was amazed at the credits it prints.

I was also amazed at the amount of dipsticks going broadside, maybe it's related 

 

Monarch went Ok as well. I met @PointyHairedJedi in his Vanguard (we lost due to potatoness galore) 

and also due to <???>,  PHJedi had collided with a Spee and I could not even hit them, even though they were standing still. 

Had a perfect broadside from the Spee and reasonable flat side from PHJedi but RNGesus must be needing more goats. Ah well.

2 salvoes and NOTHING HIT how many goats must they be sacrificing??? 

Their team were going for our cap but the only one turning around was me, so I decided to @#@@ it and go for the max damage.

Sure I could have turned but I would not have been able to do anything about it - I'd have to pass all their team... 

 

Also met @Riselotte - lost that one too but enjoyed it. Fat Freddy gave me a paddling so I had to run (no cover and no friends),

on the way out I met a Roon (he received a paddling) and a Roma (turned at the last moment), and a Zao (he also got a paddling).

Unfortunatley I got a bit too smug so forgot a Zao has torps. He croaked it (I left ~800hp and my team sunk him) but sent me some torp-mail. 

Then I spotted that Roma again and spotted Riselotte in Hindy (after I fired...). Expected a spanking but due to wiggling it wasn't that bad. 

Wiggled out of there but alas the Roma had decided to chase, got detected again and that was it. 

Great game though, tier X but no camping. Meh 49k for me but I think done OK for Tier X, thanks Riselotte for the +1 (and gave one back of course).

Thanks. For a Monarch, it wasn't that bad. We were losing at one moment, but that Jutland did great work. Sadly, I didn't get to see much of you, as we were on different flanks, but maybe one day we'll meet again.

 

Also, I'm pretty sure the Ranked experience in Arizona is more fun than Prinz Eitel Friedrich. I only played a couple rounds in it. It is a bit of an uphill struggle. Will return to Graf Spee likely.

Yes i was on the other flank, but had to GTFO... I like Monarch better that KGV. At least it has decent AP. 

Usually I do 40-50k, maybe 80. Not a lucky game for me but also not bad. You guys helped me a lot!

 

I think you'll fare no better in Spee. OK, maybe until you meet Arizona. It eats cruisers (and Spees, too).

Graf Spee is better, because it's frankly one of the more solid cruiser choices. You don't have the dpm, but with some aim can just blow out the citadel of enemy cruisers. And it doesn't just explode when someone looks at it angrily, like Nürnberg.

Lost the last game yesterday precisely to that... first AFK, then basicly yolos into the enemies Enemy CV could do what he wants, otherwise it was still kinda close, so im sure it would have been a win without that guy.

Got a day of premium from some mission or somesuch so I decided to grind my Missouri a bit for extra cash. Went into one battle which went as normal. Which means I move forward while the rest of my team's BBs stay far behind. Except for the bottom tier Tirpitz who actually had some balls. Later in the battle I run low on health and the enemy Missouri was around the corner just some 5km away, so I went for the ram. Then I noticed the name of the player I rammed under his emblem.

 

 

Quite a fancy emblem at that.

 

After the BBs noticed the enemy had mostly died off they got the courage to advance. The Yamato driver then had some choice words to say to our Harugumo captain because he wasn't currently capping. We won half a minute later on points.

 The Harugumo player was such a bad player, hardly did anything /s. @Crysantos and I also did rather well.

Now THAT is a sure thing. I have little trouble with Spee though in the Arizona. 

But a Nurnberg is mostly a one-shotter. Spee isn't, so you're probably right there. 

Also, if you take Spee then surely the other side gets a cruiser to match the line-up. Smart!
