One guy who literally sailed near the map border in his bb as far from any cap area he could got called out for his lack of courage. He then criticised my stats publicly, saying my WN8 was low. I didn't even know were using this crap in the game. His average stats were far lower than mine so when I pm'd him after the game he reported me to my clan commander making up some trashy story about him only shooting twice, etc. Sorry, I got distracted, but needed to share it with my many friends. 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I just had it happen today after I killstealed in CoOp... some DD had set my Bot Counterpart (= Nelson) aflame. Nelson was the last visible target (enemy CV was not yet spotted) and I was just some 15 km away from it.. so I waited to see if it would go down from the flames, but it didn't. As the flames died and it started to heal up I shot a salvo HE at it, set it aflame again and it burned down... Player accused me in chat and I tried to explain that there's no killstealing in WoWs as only a dead enemy is no longer a thread... and after the battle one of my superior clan officials PM'ed me. I explained what had happened and he told me, he "had told the bot to GTFO and put him on the ignore list already anyway". He promptly decided to be a nuisance and park straight in the B cap. However his team also decided to be a nuisance to him and just left him there alone ... But I guess our team took pity as they mostly lemming'ed ineffectually to the C cap and spent 10+ minutes being herded around. My Lightning however felt little such compassion. There wasn't much that I could do with my TRB-equipped Yugumo devoid of almost any support: only the carrier sent one SDB squadron, which helped me take the cap first, while the ships that spawned by my side were either AFK (Cleveland) or went east (the BB, a Gneisenau IIRC). I had to leave and let their Yugumo, KGV, Mogami and Baltimore (or was it a Buffalo?) pass through in order to sneak back from behind and retake the point. That made me the target of red CV's full attention, but I didn't go down easily, at least not before capping again, sinking a Nagato and evading 3 torp drops and numerous attacks by dive bombers. Salute. Yeah. I was on C cap and farmed a few ships before trading my ship with a Fletcher. There was also a full health Bismarck at A, which however hid behind the island and refused to engage your 200 odd hp Yuugumo.
