I took my Shinyhorse out for a spin, and stumbled onto mr. @Crysantos who managed to get himself into a slightly awkward situation, cutting it a bit too close to the island while avoiding a Tirpitz.

 

That said, the game was officially a Great Success.

Haha, it was a pleasure to fight alongside you. Yeah sometimes I do forget how sluggish this ship can be - but this beach had to be properly inspected! It was a good game, got the Tirpitz after the full inspection

In SpaceBattles I (in a CV) had to face @xXx_Blogis_xXx in his Hellcarrier too. In the loading screen I was almost thinking about quiting the game, because as a CV-Noob it would be a desaster for me.

@Skye_Tank_Dog in his Tirpitz while I was sitting in epicentre middle in my Chung Mu, didn't get to torp him though and a clear win thrown away by our camping BB's.

@AlmightyWalrus provided great cover in his Mino, but well the team threw it away.

Swam across @ghostbuster_ in his Chapayev on the Red team as I was sailing my Gearing.

 

Sadly his team got steamrolled pretty hard as I had the rare pleasure of having random BB players that actually pushed along.

Not only did I just meet SkybuckFlying, I also had to compliment him for good play. 

 

 

I miss him here. Sure, he got on our nerves sometimes, but at least it was funny. We have worse offenders on the forums nowadays and they somehow slip by.

Ha  i had 3 games with him ... one against and 2 with , he's a lot quieter in chat these days.. also one of the games had Aeroon in it ... think i recognise that name.

He must have sold his account... the "real Starbuckcrying" always was pink and rarely managed to get anything done, while spamming the chat with utter ox-feces.

And he never was funny in forum. Never ever...

No, it was actually him. He wasn't chat banned even. He has 1 good game, then 10 bad games. And he likes to play Ranger in ranked.

That might explain it... only met him like 3 or 4 times in game and none of those could be counted as "good games" for him. Or in the one case where he was on the same team as I, a good game for the team...

@tsounts, @Freyr_90 in their double Mino combo while I was in Chung Mu, for some bizarre reason all but a Zao and a Missouri followed them into A leaving us screwed at B. Messy loss, but they did their best.

I had a hunch in the beginning of the match to support you in B but got called in A.... Was expecting B to be pushed like that and for some strange reason all our team  including our BBs ran in A.... Lemmings...We won the next match though where again for some strange reason all our BBs ran in the empty of enemy ships cap and then reclaimed B which we had been defending on our own again...

Yup, it all went pete tong, badly, got double downvoted that game too, classic case of 1 more support and Trashcan was toast and me alive. Next game was a 125k double cap win, think I upset an enemy division by torpedoing their push, 2 downvotes and 1 up... Weird day.

Post match I see they had quite a good line up of players with skill but there was this point in the game where I thought 'hey, we're going to win this' because we had more caps and I think a ship or two in the lead, and a minute later looked up at the score board and we had lost 3 or 4 ships in quick succession. How disappointing that so many haven't got the staying power and rush in. I think it points to a complete lack of experience which in tier 9 and 10 you would expect otherwise.

 

Well played mate, you were a worthy adversary indeed. I was lucky to get you in the end before dying to the republique.

I spent most of that match with a third health left after someones blind shot hit me, which I can tell you dismayed me somewhat when I saw you coming into my sights  You sir played very well indeed and it was almost a pleasure to die to you rather than any of the other swine on your team, well done for top spot on your team chief.

also met flambass and @I_AM_LULU_SNAIL. With lulu on my team (thank god)

In my match against @lameoll (I was in Alabama and he was in Atago) my team failed miserably... I had 4 kills (yes - 4)... and we still lost...

 

I also met @Flambass in his Kidd... he played 100% superbly but his team was bad... I managed to kill him with my Alabama and it was the final kill of the game (my 3rd)...

Cannot remember exactly when it was, a few days ago I think, but I met @Leo_Apollo11 in Twin Brothers.  He was in a DD and pushed A, I was on the team in my Japlanta and also went A.  Punched the magic win button (radar) but he wriggled out of range before I could sink him and then I realised that about 8 of his team were with him.  Even though I managed to break detection and was moving a Pensacola on his team repeatedly hit me (at least 3 salvoes when not spotted) and sank me.  I ALT+F4'd immediately (and damn isn't it frustrating that you cannot even rage quite the game properly, instead having to confirm you really want to leave with a sh1tty UI that takes multiple clicks to accept your input and then 30 seconds to process it?!).  Not played since ;-)

 

Guessing your team steam rollered the A flank, round the top and down the other side for the win?
