Which forum members have you seen in random battles?

Met @Mandalorianer yesterday. Not a good game. We both tried capping C, but had 4-5 other ships on the other side of the island. We were alternating hydros and kept them pretty well spotted, but our flanking buddies were unable to do anything about them. Then the CV deleted me with AP bombs. So.... Not a fun game.

My Kaga met some SCRUBZ today on the opposite side @Ysterpyp in Leander@Leo_Apollo11 in Farragut and third guy  in Mutsu I can't remember the nickname. They're funny bunch of peps so I promised to kill them last but unfortunately my teammates were faster :(

The @tsountswas the 3rd... unfortunately our "team" collapsed almost immediately so all we had to do is watch you get Kraken...

Lol, I got sunk due to an accidental smoke release instead of clicking the hydro button, hadn't I done it the battle would have probably ended much differently....The problems of having a new keyboard. :)

dont feel to bad , we where the only t6's on our team ( i think ) , with no AA ships in our division . When that chapayev died to @44smok in the first few minutes, i knew it was over.

Had a battle with @T0byJug yesterday.

Spend nearly the whole battle hugging waifus and burning BB's, only noticed T0by after I got sunk and had time to look how rest of the team was doing.

 

ps. how did you not dodge that torp?

I over compensated.... Up until that point i was doing fine. I would not mind but i even had Hydro up....

Found @Gnirf in his Gremyashchy last night, made a great dynamic cap duo with my Shinonome, sank a Fiji and hunted down the enemy Gnevny-Fushun division. I took a stray cruiser torp and went down but the game was decided by then (we won). Well played sir!

Thank you it is always easier as I always play solo when you find a forumite then you can rely on performancewise in contesting the cap in fault line, as you demonstrated, you ended up 2nd in the table if I remember correctly. A fine performance by you too. I love the Gremy which I got in the Santas gifts this time.

I may have just stumbled onto (and brutally murdered) @Verblonde in a space battle.

 

To be fair, finding yourself within 5 km of what is essentially a Minotaur when you're in a DD is... not an ideal situation.

 

(Also, why those three Parises didn't comprehensively spank me when I was spotted and even managed to ground myself within 15 km of them I will never understand - looking at the minimap in between salvoes is hard, I guess)

@MortenTardo  and @Aotearas in their Atlanta and Leningrad combo while I was hooning about in my Kamikaze. bit of a ROFLStomp loss to them even though I got a doublestrike and 95k damage, such are weekend teams.

GG as expected, I even warned the team you guys were better than average and would tear them a new one if they gave you the chance.

Is that why your BB's where using "s" instead of "w" the whole game? Could hardly get in range of anything.

The doublestrike was pure luck, Konig ate 4 torpedoes and completed flooding out about 2s after Fuso ate all 6 torpedoes launched at him.

As to the BB's refusing to engage, well we all know that story and see it every day we play, repeatedly.

 

I was a bit annoyed I got jammed on a wreck while running away which is why I died or I would have caused a bit more havok

Saw @Aerroon tonight in his Midway on enemy team. He easy got Kraken because our AA defences was poor (besides me and my friend both in Missouri's) and our Hakuryu was very bad CV player.

@_VAMPA_ while we were both in Kamikaze, win, but no thanks to the team we secured 1st and 2nd spots.

 

@McCraken in his Z52 while I was in Chung Mu he and his division carried that game, I spent 1/2 of it running from Hydro and Radars when there was no support from people that spawned the side I was at.

 

@Estaca_de_Bares in his Shokaku, he totally owned the airspace and controlled the battle, sadly I was on the wrong side of that.

After a bunch of boring ROFLstomp wins its was nice meeting a good enemy team to fight against, @Commander_Cornflakes and his mates was on the enemy team and put up a valiant fight. Well played guys. Thanks for making yesterdays matches more interesting

I wouldn't say I owned the airspace: that Atlanta in the middle was a true annoyance (having to detour the planes when moving them from one flank to the other) until he decided to go elsewhere. What I did was keeping it secured at the right place and almost the right time, but that alone paid off quite well.

Just ended in the same team with @Dropsiq (Atlanta) and @RagingNoob (Fiji) in my Mutsu... Steamroll win in 6:10 minutes.. one loss (a Fushun) on our side and 8 enemy ships sunk... I didn't even had time to get close enough to battle to do some damage, but nonetheless managed two sinkers , but that was only enough for #7 in the ranking, while the two  mentioned above got #1 & #2 slot..

 

Nice to meet ya.. would sameteam again...
