He got blamed because of falling back from a cap, but there was nothing else he could do while devoid of proper support. It was strange, though, seeing the red Shokaku letting his planes be shredded by our Des Moines first, then our Donskoi: I've faced him a few times and he's not a player that would fall for that so easily. Salute. My first win in that ship, I never like having to run, but staying would have been suicide against DD, Hindenberg, several bomber squads and 2 BB's, the Udaloi driver did get rather annoyed. Sailing my Gulio Cesare with Culiacan on the red team in the excellent Shenyang. After a tough slog we managed to pull back what had looked like a totally lost game until the point that there was me and one other BB on the green team vs Culiacan as the sole enemy survivor. Unfortunately we were seriously down on points by this time, with only two minutes remaining, and so he did the correct thing and just stayed out of detection range leaving us unable to catch him before the time ran out. [ONE2] RAHJAILARI Players 3,160 posts 31,670 battles Report post #5370 Posted April 16, 2018 Well, bumped into @PzychoPanzer and his death squad division of 2 other, somewhat lesser Psych-o's (I think one of them was called "Badullah") and yes - You guessed it, they did just that (kick our buttocks to kingdom come). We were on the "Fault Line" map, our team starting from the North, theirs from South. I was divisioned up with a friend, who had just struggled up to tier 4 Shenyang and was pining to have his first try at this shiny new "High Tier" vessel (we have just conned him into this game recently). So I took my Yubari to accompany him into the maiden voyage and we went for the A cap. So far, so good right? Oh well, when we were half way to the cap both the BB's who had originally headed that way decided to make a U-turn and lemming to C-cap with the rest of the team - One of them later recanted and turned back, but it was already too late by then, the flank was lost. We were almost at the cap with one accompanying Cruiser and decided to go for it anyway, since we already there right (I, of course bravely led our charge in and out of that cap, as you can clearly see from the replay included below)? Well, to our credit we managed to cap and kill the first enemy there but then the Dreaded Psycho-Division turned up and it was all downhill from there. Both my poor division mate and the other accompanying Cruiser (a Duguay-Trouin methinks) were killed in short order while I rather heroically retreated to behind the islands masking the approach and bumped into a Kaiser from our team, who had changed his mind but came too late to the party and got himself slaughtered almost immediately. While I made my way to between B and A caps and sunk an enemy DD there. YAY! Unfortunately that was the end of my lucky run, Psycho's divisionmate in a Texas (heading from A to B) emerged from behind the island at that moment and was too close for me to disappear into concealment. AND he was lookin' straight at me so I did the only thing I could. Headed directly into him with full speed hoping to get him to expend (and hopefully miss somewhat) his salvo so I could turn my ship long enough to torp him. No such luck, an utter Git had gone and taught these boys something called "Team Play" (isn't that kinda thing illegal in Wows or something? - Totally unfair anyways) and so while I was heading straight for the Texas, Psycho was naturally right on my flank having successfully dispatched both the other 2 or 3 of our ships near A and of course - IT WAS INSTA BLAP in 1 salvo! Weel, meanwhile the rest of our team pretty much camped near the C cap most of the game (apparently they were just practising how to aim their guns according to one explanation) at first and then proceeded to either go South along the map edge or just to mill about at C or in-between C and B like a bunch of headless Chickens. Surprisingly, though employing a well-known and respected winning strategy we didn't win that game. My division-mate - The poor Blighter, was probably traumatized for life and may never speak again. BTW Panzer - Does your mother know that you spend your free time cruelly and heinously executing random innocent passer's-by just like that instead of being in the Sunday-school learning how to knit, helping old ladies cross the street or reading the Good Book (presumably "Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares" - unedited) and stuff? Hhehehehe! Good job guys BTW. Should have guessed you wouldn't fall for it but then again was too close to turn away and run to begin with also. Especially since you were already looking at me with them nasty big guns and all (yeah, they look very scary, when you are staring down the barrel in a Yubari).
