There was no point into rushing them like an idiot. So I rushed them like an idiot. Giving the back guard the chance to finish them one by one. It was an awesome match bro/ sis! Yep, I was whining because all tier 9 bbs were too afraid to brawl a bit, I was baiting them like hell in my poor Amagi towards our high tiers but they were running away half the match. You can check by the score how low the tier 9s did. Sorry but I had ran out of compliments at that point, rare but it happened! I'm just pissed off to see high tier bbs run away all the time at the first sight of enemy and not even luring them to use their hp pool and guns. Lol, just saw you were in the Kurfurst, sorry. Just my luck that I had to prove my worth while sailing my 2nd ever match in Zao that I bought (with a bit of freeXping on the way) after a looooong break from IJN cruisers. Oh, how hard I sucked. Then again, I didn't get deleted and this match my shells started landing in the general vicinity of DDs when I was aiming at these... AND we won in the end, quite comfortably even. That A cap was a real b**** to get, eh? Game would've been a lot more dynamic if my team's triple Richelieu division hadn't set up camp behind that island though. It certainly was, JP's language in chat was a touch.. colourful.... the Z 49 didn't help either, radar, hydro... DD nightmare. Frustrating game from our side, then once the other flank collapsed the game was over. A couple of lessons learned for future use. He got... let's say slightly disappointed about his team's CV (a Zeppelin). I must say in his (the CV's) defense that he kept me at bay for quite a long time (half of the planes I shot down happened after his demise, so he was getting the slight edge while alive), although he mantained the fighters in a backward position that didn't allow for a proper aerial support. BTW, if your western flank had kept with the push instead of turning back to chase the Kiev, you'd probably have won the game: the only thing between you and our base was a lone Myoko at that moment. [SCRUB] Aotearas Players 8,460 posts 13,076 battles Report post #5318 Posted April 4, 2018 Just swam across @Mandalorianer and @Areoduki in their Z-46 and Chung Mu respectively on the red team as I was continuing to retrain my captain for the Yue Yang in my Lo Yang. They didn't have much luck with their team that played pretty passive and let us have the cap advantage throughout the entire match. Was a lousy game for me, only got to do 23k damage, though at least I got plenty XP from all the caps I took. Somehow got a couple reports in that game too, despite the fact that the only things I ever said in chat was my usual prefight "Press N for honks", one offhand comment about not having much support going for B (as everyone else turned to either A or C) and noting our AFK Gearing "finally woke up" after three minutes into the game. Guess that's enough to get reported these days. And met @Mandalorianer AGAIN in the next match. Again he was on the reds, blessed with a passive team. And yet again a poor game for me in my Henry ... Henry doesn't like quick games. I've done all that and also poured a couple of buckets of salt over my teammates and never got more than one or two reports... although I can't be to sure about that, as my karma is only around 1 or 2 anyways during the last couple weeks... And a trap it was: pretty hard game and the team didn't pay much attention to my warning about the skill level, but at least they complied when I said "focus Kidd, no kidding". Also ended up a few battles before in the same team with @TheSailingRobin (Hindenburg) and @GarrusBrutus (Minotaur) in Sleeping Giant, me once again in Shokaku. Not a good battle because of the massive AA blobs (Minotaurs and Des Moines everywhere), but at least I was able to provide some scout. Salute. 1 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

The other SCRUB got top spot. Blogis didn't - he clearly aimed to secure the rearguard position of the team score (not successfully, though, some Izumo was beyond competition for the spot...). More seriously, though, that was a match that... let me put it this way: the enemy team had such a clinical case of aversion to caps and fighting that we grabbed the first blood when the timer showed 12 minutes left, while already holding all caps for some time... I have a pet theory that these 4 people that later died in our team did so mostly out of desperation to try and prolong the match and give the rest of us a chance to grab another kill or two before the enemy runs out of points Anyway, thx for what might've been the most curbstompy victory I experienced this week Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
