Ran into @Corvi with the New Orleans today. RNG really hated him tho, as his forward guns all missed my Harekaze at ~2km range

And while all of my games were won, it wasn't my highest DMG Kutuzov games, and Geralt was unfortunately on the wrong team.

For the balance purposes next game was top tier with cruisers only, 1bb and a dd per side and two cvs that couldn't do anything because ca DFAA. First time in In a long time I found a use for AP on British BBs.

Pretty easy win, Deckeru seemed to get focus fired at the beginning, but after retreat and healing still managed to KS(kill secure) Mogami before my torps hit it at the end. Lost only 1 BB in our team.

Encountered @xXx_Blogis_xXx in his Saipan a few hours ago on the enemy team. Both teams consisted of thoroughbred weekend-warriors, so gameplay was at an all-time low. We won tho', more by luck than by skill, and Blogis tried everything to prevent it. He ended top of the team.

Met @Agantas on that new map yesterday. He did his best to help me by dying early. I didn't want to let him down, so I pushed and capped in Izumo, but unfortunately, my team was beyond saving, so it was a loss. (Or steamroll more like it.)

 

Also met @Z_OnkelE  in his Normandie. Also a loss. A very frustrating one, at that, since it had been easily winnable if not for some inexplicably stupid potatoes exiting cap, not shooting back at low HP enemies that kept resetting cap, and such. But oh, well, the 'uncle' seems a good guy, so I shan't be too miffed if he snatches a victory from me.

 

A few days back I met @Commander_Cornflakes in his Midway, together with his AA-division of Montana + Minotaur (from AAO).

Our own CV, @Flash_overlord was mightily miffed at meeting the division once again, so he was really letting the $h1+ fly in chat.

 

I died early, to a devstrike from the Montana, but my divmates fought on and won.

CC suicided.

Oh THAT one! With the "special" DD having private tango with our Spee at J10... I have to say that wasn't really a win (or defeat for you respectively) due my doing (I hate RNG) but rather enough prolonging the battle, winning by points and slick dodging skills by @LordFjord in his Cleveland. If I recall correctly my other div mate was detonated quite early in his Fushun.

Had the pleasure of meeting the BAD-A Clan members and forumites @cherry2blost and @xxNihilanxx and @gazza10001 on Two Brothers domination, their division took care of the right flank in good fashion, and I personally played on left flank, I was rather busy there and had good help by the player in KGV as he draw lots of fire from the Dunkerque and Normandie. I must admit that the task were made easier when the enemy DD thought it was best to sneak past us and try capture our spawn cap instead of blocking our advance, as soon as I noticed he was capping I pushed forward and managed to take out Normandie and Dunkerque with help so it was a misjudgement although this is hindsight. But it made it possible to go fwd without risks, he left his BBs without support. Played a handful of games this evening and this was my best.

 

Complimented all 3 afterwards, and nice game for us.

Yeah, that was a fun battle... I thought I'd buy the farm when I got all that lovin' from the enemy on the right flank, but for once I knew when to run away and for once there were others going forward to do the job...

And changing to the other flank gave me enough time to heal all that fire damage I had taken...

Wasn't a great game statisticwise, but it was a win... and a win is a win is a win..

 

Oh... and I only called for (EST) to go first, because one from Your clan was on the other team, IIRC

Actually there was 2. I was even thinking about that mid fun , but i knew i can't let my clanmate in Yueyang to get to flank so we went with Gearing to say a "warm" hello to him from the beginning. Was heartwarming  to hear Yueyang saying to us in discord "oh no you didn't , not together".

Was a good battle. As you said their Gadjah Mada helped us a lot by playing quite poorly, preferring to sneak cap our home spawn instead of holding you guys back. Always good to see you in-game.

Had a game against @Leo_Apollo11 in his Alabama. Was in a Kidd killing their 3 destroyers. Unfortunately our 2 destroyers were good enough to eat torps and die in first two minutes in B cap so... yeah, it was a loss.

Indeed @Phlogistoned . I drove my Shima west of A, with idea of heading quickly to A and cap in the cover. Your Shima had same idea, he beached and I torped him, but the threat of his torps didn't allow me to turn towards the cap. I narrowly avoided his torps, but got radared by the New Orleans following your Shima and got focused down by the ships coming towards A. Then @Snicla with his Minotaur drove to the cap, flanked your pushing team from there and carried the flank. We did not suffer any further casualties while half of your team died there. This happened while our C half was playing a safe sniping game with your Izumo at C.
