Just met @evilmii in a game that can only be described as retard central. It had everything and I mean bloody everything that's bad in this playerbase.

Not the best sight on the load up screen for any CV Captain (Essex). That and the Mino and Des too.

 

Massive camping game with hardly any ship moving the whole game.  Lost in the end but they kept together and couldn't do much at all.  GG

And just had @HMCite on the enemy team, again I was blessed with a team of questionable skill sets. Also a particularily charming Neptune who not only knocked out my Zao's rear guns with spectacular consistency but also felt like he had to insult me.

 

Today seems to be one of those days specifically designed to just make me want uninstall this game.

Just met @lup3s and he won the SCRUB war 1 against 3.   I wasn't optimist seeing a 3-SCRUB div against us but we managed.

That game was horrible. Jesus. Our DD did n o t h i n g. Except landed on beaches mimicing Tokyo Express. Sadly our bounty for lupes' head went undistributed :P

Just last night I found myself in a high tier battle with the infamous @Commander_Cornflakes in his midway. Thank you sir for educating us again about the difference between a good CV captain and a bad one. His carrier carried more than planes on that battle. Not the whole match, but a big part of it :)

 

me and my clan buddies.. meh! we were just there for tourism! At least RNGesus made us felt that way!

@MrConway, @Sehales and @tagl1a in a division (Hindenburg and two Frances, I suppose one was Free and the other Vichy) swam across our Scrub division right on time for my very first ever Hsien Yang match.

 

Took the chance to poke Conway about the division chat change before the action got hot. We won, despite literally two thirds of your team taking their sweet, sweet time sailing around C whilst @FlutterRage and myself defended the B cap in our poor bottom tier sheep.

 

 

 

Mysteriously my port UI went missing after that game and when I restarted the game to fix that, it crashed entirely forcing another restart.

Just played against @Aerroon - it was his very first battle (according to "Match Making Monitor - but God knows how accurately it handles TEST ships)  in brand new French BB "Lyon"...

 

We exchanged several salvos (and I almost killed him - was 1-2 seconds too late with my shells still in flight):

 

 

 

 

 

 

Somehow my team won (me and my random teammate "Gimmick66"   killed 4 + 4 ships) - @Aerroon was, of course, #1 in his team!

Saw forumite xXx_Blogis_xXx twice today. In the first match, he was our CV & the enemy CV saw what he was up against & suicided straight away (I believe he'd had previous experience!), but I was laughing so much my Lo Yang got shredded & I died first.

Second time Blogis was also our CV, this time in his Saipan. I was in my Fubuki, & I capped a bit & killed three ships with torps, coming second to the man himself in XP.

 

Of course, both times he carried us to a win. Was a pleasure...

PS: His division mate (Another Scrubber, was in Algiers the second time?) was also a very good player. I forget his name though, so if you're reading this, Mate-of-Blogis, kudos to you too

Who is this player DiscOrdian. - I can not find it on Wows stats or on WG official player list  ( there is only players with name+sufix but of 30 players that start with discordian none have more than 350 battles ) - He oneshoted me in Hindi for 49000 dam from single salvo under impossible angle from more than 15km from his Montana ( look at minimap black cruiser near Mitar, look at angle ), I was full speed, than I see alert for fire upon me, than I shut down engine and start turning, shell needed at least 10 sec or more after I start slowing down and turning and I turned him quite  - I know this ship in hart and I know that Montana is a big hitter and I take special alert when I see him especially when he shoot at me, but that hit could be max 2 cit - maybe 22-30.000 dam max with that 7 hits..

Impossible angle? No, it isn't impossible at all, in contrary, it's still a rather good angle to shoot from.

Here's some examples from me, on how Monty can devastate things:

 

 

See the angle of that first victim? It's more absurd than in this example you posted.

 

Also on my Hindenburg kill on that game; he tried to evade, but I predicted right and landed shells fired only from my rear turrets on him; RNG blessed me and gave 3 citadels. Devastating salvos are often a compilation of skill and a bit of luck as well. Those hits could have been non citadels as well.

No, the amount of citadels (and thus damage) could vary from 0 to 4 (as much as is needed to sink your ship). Good aim and prediction improves the chance to get citadels, but in the end sove love from RNGsama you also need.

That's good. Montana in good hands is a beast. There is a reason why Monty is my favourite TX BB as well.

 

 

 

Anyways, the point of this thread is to tell which Forum members you have seen in random battles. That guy you mentioned is not a Forumite, and this post of yours overall just feels like it was made under frustration. That kill was not impossible, forget/learn from it and carry on into new adventures.

Just had a game with @Eclaire and @Natsumiku on the enemy team.

 

[TTT] hags too stronk, my division mate in the CV kept disconnecting from the game every two'ish minutes, hence couldn't do anything the whole game long and we lost resoundedly (AFK Shima didn't help either, but who knows if he wasn't having connection issues too).
