We came first and second so yeah...Job done Indeed, great work with that Bismarck. I must say I was a bit rusty especially with the air defense (should not have let that strike Lex get away with what he did) but that game reminded me how awesome it is to have 9km detectability on a CV. Also that got me the final stage of the Midway mission For everyone else, we ended the game capping together (standard battle). Yes, I capped in a Shokaku. TheIdesOfMarch93 in his Yamato I was there too TheIdesOfMarch93 played very well in his Yamato! At last a BB player that doesn't snipe from max range or rush forward to be spammed to death, but sits just at that comfortable range to aid his teammates. Yamato isn't really my favourite BB (I'm having way too much fun in Hood at the minute to really put my heart into any other BB at the minute) but I don't usually camp in my BB gameplays. Bit of a steamroller game form our side but was fun. Always a pleasure to meet a gentleman in combat. VC381 dashed into the grande finale with a daring 33kn ride in his Hood and came out on top XP. Too bad I didn't get much support and we lost the game, but I already left the game so I'm not sure how he did (he got the First Blood though). Problem with B in Okinawa that it's usually bad on support. BBs tend to move either north or south. We lost the game pretty badly. We pushed the a cap together and kept pushing beyond and the enemy team just died too fast. The game itself was nothing spectacular and over rather quickly. Nice meeting you m8! Met Drunken_Jedi later that evening in a division (enemy team) on Land of Fire. We won the game, but i got sunk by the Enterprise, which kept focusing me. I got a little upset, as up until that point i had a decent game. Got my Kraken after a NoCar decided to broadside me ( Moskva) which he regreted after two salvos...it's so effin easy to wreck broadside on BBs with the Moskva.^^ The Enterprise used that moment to strike me with TBs and with my Damacon on cooldown i kept flooding and managed only to damage the Enterprise a bit. This could have been the game that could have completed the mission stage, thus a bit saltyness. My comment "Enterprise OP..." was met with humour, and the reply was something along the lines of "...says the guy in the Moskva...and a Kraken". Now i have to play CVs... By this point though, all (6) of my BBs were too busy drooling around the edge of the map to decap, while our DDs got shot to pieces and all i could do was nuke an Emerald and ram a Bayern. Thought MM hated me putting me in a T9 max MM match... ended up coming out top with 4 kills and 4 citadels (three of them courtesy of a Neptune I one-shotted).
