Met Kurbain at helm of Blyskawica in same team.

Had nice tight match with eventual victory.

Too bad time run out little before we could put enemy Pensacola out of its misery.

 

Yup, you did very well in your Gremy despite being low-tier. Surprisingly the Colorado in our team was top scorer.

Sadly I lost a turret right at the start of the match and those Kievs were giving our team a real workout.

Except for Blyskawica or Kiev in enemy team (or CV with Gremy obsession) there really isn't nothing that dangerous for Gremlin in T7.

Mahan is just too slow and unstealthy.

That Colorado sure deserved compliment.

But properly handled Colorado can work really well.

 

Few months ago in Fault Line had pleasure to meet one.

We held/stalled one flank against Mutsuki, Aoba, Cleveland, Nürnberg and Nagato.

Aoba just didn't stay around long with simultaneously eating one fish and Colorado's salvo for good "shock therapy".

That seemed to make other cruisers afraid to properly support Nagato.

Technically we had also Königsberg as help but he died to showing his side to enemy little after Aoba's sinking without doing much damage.

Torping run just caused me to take ~8k hp torpedo hit because of lucky (not for me) hit jamming rudder during critical second of evasion.

But it had happy ending.

Last of those enemies (Nagato) sinked to IIRC 23hp torpedo hit seconds before rest of the team finally capped enemy base, with Gremy down to ~1250hp (+three guns) and Colorado down to 4-5k hp.

Pretty sure I saw t3h3th32 in a Baltimore on Two Brothers. I was in my Atlanta and the enemy had just sent a ship up the middle so he and I went to defend. Both of us were called cowards! He killed the enemy, went down the middle and I went down the east side, met at the bottom and killed what was left. About the only time I have seen a Baltimore and thought that it looked useful! I sold mine previously because it seemed to attract BB shells like wasps to jam. Showed it was clearly me sucking!

Saw Mister_Greek today in his Amagi. At long(er) ranges he utilized his mobility pretty well while dodging shells.

To be honest, I would have buggered off pretty sharpish too if I was in a Tenru up against a T5 BB division.

Met a ton of forum members recently while grinding the Mogami due to the coming changes.

1. Had the honor of meeting _x_Acheron_x_ on Trap. He was in an Amagi if I remember correctly.
2. Met WhiskeyWolf in his Ibuki on Northern Lights. He played very well.
3. Met absolute_justice in his Midway on Atlantic. Played very well, but his chat manners weren't exactly the best. 
4. Met Babykim in a Mutsuki on Two Brothers. Despite being low-tier he managed to score above me on the team. 

5. Met Sehales in a Lo Yang on Trap, but didn't notice until I checked the results screen.

6. Met ShockPirat in his Des Moines on Terra Del Fuego for my final Mogami match. Was a really close one.

I probably met one or two more, but those are the ones I can remember off the top of my head.

Yesterday we were battling against XTHD and Farazelleth. Driving my trusted Marblehead, and had the best wingman Azell in his Konigsberg, we managed to win one flank, only to find out, that the only ships that were sunk were the ones we smited Not to mention, that Azell, being one of the best CV player, was faced with perils of sailing a CA, and get his butt stucked in some mountains  

 

We went down fighting down though

 

Ah lol, I remember that game because we had a laugh about it later: not only were our divisions mirrored (Marblehead and Königs in each) but in the end we had the exactly mirrored number of kills, 3 each for the Marbleheads and 2 each for our Königsberg sidekicks.

 

Anyways, met the fellow torp hater BB enthusiast ghostbuster_. The game was a tier X 8v8 without any DDs however, so a lot of fun was had which ended in a victory.

I met EsaTuunanen in 4 matches yesterday, was very impressed. Guess being in division with him is kind of stacking the odds there though 

I've seen Esa in a couple of matches in his Gremy. Next time I see him, I'll go afk for a smoke if he's on my side. He's gonna win it anyway. Or will leave to port if he's with the enemy. That battle is lost anyway

I just met Troublemaker_CRO and Gunship14 in a division. I got so starstruck that I managed to land 6 hits for a grand total of 3267 damage before I died.

Still keep playing for first five minutes to see if other ten in team are total fail boaters.

With time and point limits there isn't enough time to alone sink every enemy if rest of the team can't do anything... other than suicide.

 

As sidenote latest challenge was nice in not dictating that you can't hunt cruisers in DD...

I have seen quite a lot of forumites recently and said hello to most.  My memory sucks so I can't name them all.

 

Saw viceadmiral123 this morning though.  Must admit I was happier seeing him in a Nagato than I would have been in a CV... actually he is probably v good in BBs too.  Either way, he went East on 2 brothers and I went West so we never saw each other.  He died and we were on track to win but our DD didn't like that idea so left the cap to chase their CV. 'he can de-cap us' he says even though their CV had just failed to de-cap and was returning his planes to re-arm so... couldn't.  Also I was just arriving with my Myoko and a charged barrage.  We drop 75% cap when he leaves and although our friendly ranger de-capped the enemy Cleve they also had a hatsuhari on cap and they won by cap.  A little bit of me dies inside when I keep seeing such terrible decision making.
