I tried my best in my just unlocked Hindenburg, but to no avail (even 192k was too little). At least he had to work hard until the end for the win and his 2.216 base xp. tenacious_torps ∞ Players 1,373 posts Report post #3656 Posted May 24, 2017 (edited) Just met mtm78 in an Edinburgh, iirc, while I was having an absolute stinker of a match in my Izumo as is usually the case, when you misjudge your team mates' intentions on the general idea of bloody pushing cap and you're forced to turn and run. And get abandoned, of course, because everybody else is so much better at running. Geez... Probably would have been better to just make a stand against a Fat Freddy, a Currywurst and an Udaloi on my own, but... yeah well, hindsight is 20/20. Anyway, that was a loss, I got farmed by that Udaloi anyway, while mtm78 apparently had a good game, not that I ever actually saw him. [KOKOS] MaxxyNL [KOKOS] Beta Tester, Players 3,418 posts 11,878 battles Report post #3660 Posted May 25, 2017 Just had a game with MaxxyNL in his Sims while I was in my Missouri farming credits (one of 6 in game!!!!) - The game, while a win, was a typical BB-fest on Tears of the Desert in Epicentre mode which is never a good combination. The enemy pushed the left side heavily (my side) with 4 BB's, 2 DD's and 2 CA against our DD, me and an Iowa. While our right side mopped up the enemy without issue we 3 ships alone stalled the rest of the enemy for all the game until we'd bled them dry before all being sunk. I played "poorly" but still did a respectable amount of damage (143k) but some how came top in XP (1700-ish) with MaxxNL in 2nd on almost identical points but I only took 1 screenshot PS: Played with all the Bismarck flags (XP/Free XP, Commander XP, Credits etc) and over 3 games (1 win and 2 loses) and made 2.8 million credits Hey Captain, sorry that i did not notice you in that battle. I was in Atago. They both died quite early, and it looked like my team was going to win. I had just dispatched an enemy Fletcher and was going to do the same to an Edinburgh when I ate 2 torps from a 'friendly' Z-46 who immediately started blaming me for it. Both of us and Konig_2B in a Gearing spammed the 3 button like pros and yoloed their whole fleet. All of us were dead in 5 minutes, but it was totally worth it ^^ I had a good game because I tactical beached in front of 2 Yamas and a few CAs (5km, no smoke, no HP left). I was having a stint as the tactical officer on the Gneisenau that sunk your Baltimore in the game when you got a bit salty about the arming times of the torps on German BBs. Yup, they are certainly quite good, especially when you have another guy sitting besides you and doing the countdown, e.g. yours truly. Nice try though, going for the ram there.
