Indianapolis Marathon 70K damage

So is any one getting this?

 

 I need the 70K damage win. but cannot do it. I can win T5 games and get 80K damage, but T6 I get a lot of damaged like 80K and lose the game or low damage like 20K and win the game. 

I have used differing ship and going and camping lol but it always the same. 

Been like it for two days now.

Can you give me at least one reason to not troll...

I mean ... like 5 games and you should have do it probably if you are any good player...

Yes, I do say. And if you can't get a win in pve (note, not ops, regular pve) then you have issues sir.

You can fail at a few missions and still get it. Good whine though.

According to your stats, you deal the highest average damage on T6+ ships with your Bayern, Gneisenau and Takao (all around 45k). Using them might increase your chances to achieve the mission goal sooner than later. Taking into account your average win rate on these ships, your ship of choice should be the Gneisenau.

 

I did this mission in my T7 Lyon btw. Any HE slinging battleship (= british and french up until T7) should have an advantage here because they don't really care about angling and you can easily accumulate quite some fire damage especially if you are low tier.

Play division to raise win chance and then just play a ship you can do good damage with.

Tip.. Don't focus on the mission parameters, just play like you would normally.. Less frustrating and better results in the end.... Sometimes you can jinx yourself and your performance by getting tunnel vision.

simple..

step 1 get high tier fire starter (VIII++)

step 2 press "Battle" button.

step 2 ½ if needed Do "step 2" one more time.

Speaking about the Indy missions, how many are there in total, i know i missed a few, and i dont want a repeat of the DoY where i was left one mission short

I did it from my 1st try yesterday.

Its not so hard if you play TX.

I think they are 26 in total, but you need only 21 completed to get the ship.

I mean I get where you're coming from. If a losing streak happens to coincide with trying to get this mission done, it can be really frustrating.

It actually took me way longer than it should for this exact reason. Can't control when you get those un-carryable teams.

Well i can hardly see the point of this thread.

It`s actuallly one of the eaisiest Indianapolis marathon missions, but considering you have some issues with it, then it might be because of your playstyle in general.

In my opinion you should sit back, and analyze how you die/fail, and then try and fix/change that.

 

I`ll just say i got it done in the first game i tried it (used Montana though), but 70k isn`t really much damage for any, but lowest tiers.

Yeah did it in like 2nd or 3rd attempt yesterday (with Yue), the only "hard" part in the mission is getting your team to actually win

You have tier 7 and 8 ships, why would you waste your time trying to get that on t6 instead?

7 - almost always top tier, you have all the power to stop those 5s and 6s

8 - you pretty much always fight 10s who tend to have lots and lots of HP for you to farm

Did it (and the other mission this weekend) in Des Moines. All while on a 4G hotspt off my phone as I moved house and my internet isn't activated yet.

 

Seriously, 70k in anything T7 and above isn't hard.

No luck got close to it a few time. 

but this mission does seam to be a T10 mission.

I finding that no matter what i do or ship i use some will rip 2/3 of hp off me with one shot. 

I guess if you a T10 it easy to get.

It's easy in anything past t4-5.

If you are focussing on dealing damage only you are probably not playing the objectives. Therefore your team is a player down and it gets harder to win.

Just play the game as you normally would without focussing on dealing the damage.
