What I do like in those collections is if you haven't been played enough the game in time, you're stuck with uncompleted collections. Then is offer you the possibility to pay to get containers to complete them and then have randoms items for a cheap price like 15€ for 5 containers. So, if you have completed a collection nevertheless, WG still gives you items you don't need, and propose you to overcomplete the collection. :D

What I thought OP would be getting at (though it turns out not) is: why a collection for all the cool bonus stuff? Why not a campaign open to all tiers? Or vice versa, why aren't the campaigns all collections instead? Is the difference between these really meaningful enough that they both need to exist in the same game, dividing development direction and player attention in a game with poor player retention?

Just make all containers filled with useful ingame addons and fine im happy. I dont care for pictures of cars or stupid medals or a gun. WG can stick those up there butt and also stick the 10% coupon you sent me up the same orifice!! Hmppppph

burn all collections

The thing is that this game caters to a broader audience in a way. Some like it competitive while others just want to relax and shoot the red stuff :cap_rambo:

One may want only the historical ships while others want to get to tier 10 (which imo isn't a goal in itself) or actually want to try out as many different ships as possible, or who (like me) are actually also interested in "What if?".

Some may not even like the daily container system but I reckon most people do :cap_money:

Some may want to just be the mastah p0wnzorz #1 while being a braindead monkey themselves :cap_book: and others are in it just for the chat stuff :Smile-angry:

Some want to complete stuff and others just want to have fun! :Smile_great:

Thankfully there is a reasonable diversity in this game, mostly due to its strong point in it having PvE, so content one is not interested in can simply be skipped or ignored. Heck, you could even play it for free if you wanted to, but you could also invest a kidney or twoo if you'd like :Smile_hiding:

Well frankly I think the Yamamoto supercrate that gave me a free Atlanta was surely just garbage, the ship is soo fragile it blows up if a seagull lands on it! Stupid useless stuff those collections burn em all! :cap_rambo::cap_win:

Still better than the Nürnberg, that has worse firing angles and is prone to sink if a seagull is flying in a 5km radius around it. :P
