yamato is causing a lot of damage

What?

If you want to know if Yamato gets deleted eaisly then yes: If Yamato is caught broadside against a battleship (or a high-gun-caliber cruiser at very close range) then it`s very like it will take VERY heavy damage, or be destroyed outright - even from full health.

On the other hand Yamato set up nose-in is a very hard obstacle to get around, because it has both very accurate guns, and is the one of only two ships capable of overmatching a standard nose plating of high tier battleships.

They shoot your nose, and bounce (unless you are being shot at by another Yamato or Musashi), you shoot their nose, and do full-penetration damage, or citadel them through the nose.

She has the biggest guns. They do alot of damage. Yes, you have a good eye for the obvious.

Yamato in RL never seen real combat and did not tested in combat conditions.She was run away during battle for Guadalcanal and her last mission was suicide run on whole US navy too stop them too reach Okinawa and she failed victim too dive bombers 400 km away from main US battle group.Her deck was not armored because IJN was playing of Yamato's guns that could shot on 40+ km almost twice the range of any US battleship but at long range Yamato is as US battleships or any ship in RL and in game very weak on plunging attacks.Plunging attack is when shells have high fly arch and they avoid armor belt and hit deck plate directly.that is why you take damage at high level because your armor belt is useless at long range.you need too close distance and engage ships at 7 km or closer so that enemy guns fire at you in straight line and you can use armor belt effective.
