How to see moke screen in binocular view

Is it my wrong doing or game mechanics that i can't see smoke screen in binocular view?

At max zoom you indeed can't see smoke, that was removed bcuz it made some peoples toasters run too slowly or something

 

Note the "at max zoom" part. As you scroll out a bit you will be able to see the smoke, and the further you scroll the clearer it will be. To me even a litle bit of zooming out is enough, the foggy shape is good enough to tell where it is.

 

This, sadly enough, is kind of an advantage for Dynamic crosshair over Static, as Dynamic keeps its "lead values" at all zoom levels, while for static the same "number" wouldn't do anymore
