Did the OP played Silent Hunter?

If the answer is yes, how and when could you think a such gameplay would fit in Wows?

The only sort of sub gameplay I think would be relevant in Wows would be the modern nuclear sub style, but they don't fit the overall design/chronology thing. 

And you would have to add a whole new anti-sub depth charge gameplay, when WG has already trouble to fix the AA gameplay and plans to rework it totally.

But wait... Scouting and unleash sneaky devastating torps salvos on capital targets, isn't it what IJN DD are already doing in the current game?

Easy answer: I wouldn't. Subs don't fit into the game. Sub playstyle is even further away from normal WoWs playstyle then CVs. The only way I would expect to see subs in game would be as NPC vessels in combat missions.

True, there is already a class that is not played by 95% of the player base

Name does ring a bell indeed. It took me quite a long time to figure out how to deal with the DD's: surface and gun them down!

Similar to Silent Hunter III, only with further developed GWX. Obviously.   :Smile_trollface:

Easy. He would only have to play using time compression and micromanaging like Korean Warcraft player on crack. :Smile_teethhappy:

the correct way to implement them is with dual exclusive match makers so in one MM the DDs, CAs and BBs are matched with each other and in other MM Subs and CVs are thrown into their own matches where they can't piss off the rest of us :Smile-_tongue:

Does not matter, they should not be implemented. maybe scenarios if you do some convoy mission , but it is not suited to WOWs.
