[SKDR] Jormungandr603 Players 130 posts 9,631 battles Report post #52 Posted October 29, 2019 Hi everyone ... After 30 game with my Asashio ... I wouldn't say that she is bad or good ... (can do better). She is very dependent with the matchmaking ... Since the last update ... with the new russian bb ... she can hope to get some new food ... But ... there is always a catch ... when the matchmaking is not cool ... (I have some game without bb ... so painful ...). Ok ... there are lot of thing to do ... like spotting ships ... destroy dd ... (this last one is tricky because ... Asashio is not a gunboat first ...). But in this kind of situation, having good game is hard ... risky ... and cannot give a lot of reward for the player ...

[SKDR] Jormungandr603 Players 130 posts 9,631 battles Report post #54 Posted October 29, 2019 I was thinking ... If Asashio need a buff ... or need an optional mean of gameplay ... It would be better to add a new torpedo armement like the F3 torp with the speed of 76 knots and range of 8 km (with 131 sec of reload). As I write ... I know it would be too good for her ... but WG can mitigate that with a nerf ... like adding more time for the reload or even ... decrease the range ... Maybe I'm wrong ... but this kind of buff can have a lot of advantage and drawback too ...

Don't you know that the Azure Lane Yukikaze, together with High School Fleet (*chuckle*) Harekaze, was a that once, twice in a lifetime chance to get a Tier 8 IJN premium DD that doesn't rely on a stupid gimmick and actually fits into the rest of the tech tree? Those boats are strictly limited offers for anime fans, sorry mate.

I actually have no clue what DD line i want to go up in. I gave up with germany because i got frustrated with doing little damage (but having decent winrates). Might go for french and maybe british or russian.

Hmm, what do you have to do to prove you are an anime fan? No, on second thoughts don't tell me, I'll get back to rigging my Dreadnought. Glad to know somebody else likes the smell of glue, I mean has an interest in making historically accurate models.
[RODS] Ronchabale Players 3,002 posts 9,998 battles Report post #61 Posted November 1, 2019 I like the Asashio as it is With its exellent concealment it would be insanely strong with normal torps even if they "only" were 10 k

[MA-GE] T3ddyBear Beta Tester 298 posts 12,764 battles Report post #63 Posted November 8, 2019 Am I reading this right, peeps are asking for the Asashio to be buffed? It is a fantastic ship, stunningly good torps, great concealment and when required she can hunt down low health DD's during the end game, why on earth does she need a buff? I am confused. That said, I wouldn't object to a variant that was in all respects an upgraded Kagero, only premium, although if Harekaze is back, the need is rather diminished.
